So...after a lot of frustration, pulling with odd body parts, swearing, a few blisters and burns, I've got Rin back together. I'm still not totally happy. Rin's joints are still a little wonky, both the elbows and the knees - though the knees are worse. JID legs...I swear, I never want to have to deal with them again. Though I have no choice...Anjali would like to be whole again...hmmmmm....maybe tomorrow...

So, the neckline was all wrong on the first try, so I lowered it and added elastic for the gathers instead of stitching to add to the comfort and durability of the dress. So, in the end, not exactly like the one I was trying to re-create, but I still like it enough to wear!

Latest Update: The Splash Pad at Hermance Park (behind Elkhart County Historical Museum) in Bristol Indiana now has the cement pad completed, and the features will be installed week of Sept. 17, 2012. The equipment will be tested, and the park will be made available for use by the families of the community. Linda Powell, Park Board President expressed her excitement at the progress and Scott Dreamer, new Park Board member said that he was thrilled to join the board at such an exciting time and hoped that good weather would allow extended use of the Splash Pad yet this season. The exact opening date will be announced as soon as it is available. Park hours expected to be 9am to 9pm.
