I updated my ID (left) and area pass (right) with how I express for the majority of the time while at work. The ID card printer software squishes everyones photo unfortunately.
So the first updated photo was taken Sunday of PN05. The second one was taken today while on School and swiming duties and is seen outside Great Barr Junior School waiting to take them swiming to Perry Beaches 5 minutes up the road. YN57FZZ is our Scania L92 / Itizar Skool C70FL , not one of my favourites i find it uncomfertable. Photo taken 13/02/13
Not perfect, but getting there. She has a underskirt now and I ordered shoes for her. Next: the closures. Though pins are actually historically correct.:)
Starting with the newborn gallery since that is all I'll be taking January and February while on Maternity leave.
So an update on my fire damaged dolls. I mostly destunk them all by soaking their heads in airtight container full of white vinegar for a few days, and now they don’t smell like ashes unless you put your nose on their scalp and sniff. Which is a lot better than sitting three feet away and smelling them so I finally got around to painting the bits of paints that scrubbed off.
I gave 35th Anniversary Barbie dark lips but I think she looks super angry now lol.
Brunette TNT repro got new pupils styled like a Momoko’s cuz hey I’ll never get these dolls looking factory new so might as well have some fun.
Redhead got Takahashi style eye shines cuz it’s fun. And while the repro bodies are in okay condition now I just hate the TNT proportions so…. yea.
Just an update for you all:
-- I will be doing the last 5 days of my 365 soon, most likely as a series.
-- I have 6 rolls of film to process, but I'm poor (aka: NEED A JOB).
-- I got a new film camera, a Nikon n6006, with a nice 28-80mm lens, from my cousin Linda as a gift.
-- I have 4 blank rolls of film to shoot still, not sure what camera(s) I'll use 'em in yet.
-- I don't want to shoot digital ever again after my last five 365 photos.
-- That's about it.....
Update:
I posted a few days ago some pics of rubbish that had been dumped (25th July 2017)
Today (30th July 2017) its been cleared up.
You can see that it was dumped next to a big horse trough that both horses and dogs use each day.
So I thought I'd show my updated Ollie and Connor, which the former will be used as my TAN:98 Ollie. :)
Yes, I did pretty much use Chaos' Connor design instead of my own, but I'd be lying if I said that my one was better. :)

I painted his boots, added a silencer to the sniper and painted a strap round his hat for the goggles.
My little shop is restocked with lots of new goodies! I felt really bad seeing it empty so I worked hard all week to fill it back up. See my profile for a link :)

Just wanted to give you an update about the current photos of my silk dresses
I have been wanting to post new photos of all of my silk dresses for a good while now as well as newly acquired dresses and skirts in my collection. I will at some point delete my old photos of what’s currently uploaded and replace them with a better representation.
If you follow me or have commented and/or favourited any of my photos and start seeing new uploads, that means the ones I had before have been deleted. My apologies for the changes but it will be for the better, I promise you!
To be clear, this only concerns the individual dress uploads, meaning the dresses themselves, at least as of this moment.

Like I wrote with the previous picture: I have updates!
For the last 3 months I have been putting my bears up for sale on one of the Dutch online Marketplace (marktplaats.nl) - and, perhaps not entirely unexpected, they do sell. Not fast (it is not a big hobby here), but my shelve is almost empty now and mis them. So now I am working on new ones! And I simply love seeing how they are coming together. I hope I can make them in such a way that they really 'look at you'.
The purple one is a new design, meant to become a hare? I like its body, but I am not sure about the head yet. We'll see.
The other part of my resolution (finishing things before getting more new things) means that I want to work through a bit of my mohair stash - maybe put the money coming from the bears into finishing my bjd's? (I have 4 huge boxes full of mohair, enough to make maybe 200? bears)
So adding to my work list for February and March:
- finish these bears and critters
- make pictures! (to be seen here too)
- work on the design for the hare
- cut out 3 new ones for sewing - maybe another big rat, bear and a big mouse? Or a hare?
And a resolution? : buy only what is needed to fill and make joints. Do not buy more mohair! :)
And that is difficult one. I went to Tierlantijntje this morning to get filling and stuff and I did manage it: I did not fall into temptation. Have you ever been at a place with a lot of mohair? That is temptation! I can not stop myself from touching and wanting more of that fabric.
Maybe I should try and use mohair for a piece of clothing for a bjd? Any suggestions?
Just a small update! I finished the dresses, they are a bit short though so hmm, maybe I'll try to do some cute shorts or short leggins. What do you think? The dresses by themselves or with soem shorts or some sort? :)
Unfortunately I wont be able to put them up on Etsy until Saturday or so. It's dark outside when I head off to campus and it's dark when I walk home so no natural light for photos :<
Due to some reasons with Flickr not working on my PC and me not able to find my adapter for transferring photos from my camera I'm not sure when I'll be able to post next. If you want to get more updates and stuff I'm more active on Instagram.
A better version of the golden knight. I gave him some red details like on the lance or helmet and back. He also has a new second helmet now with a moveable visor. It tourned out very nice. I also uploaded my contest entry vid on my YouTube chanel for the Noble Artist contest. Check it out!
SRS Recovery Act Update: K Cooling Tower is imploded on May 26, 2010 as part of the SRS Recovery Act Project.
One of the most visual milestones of cleanup projects underway within the Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management was the demolition of the K-Reactor Cooling Tower at the Savannah River Site (SRS).
Now, this American Recovery and Reinvestment Act project has been completed one month ahead of schedule, with debris from the implosion safely hauled away and deposited in an on-site landfill. With project completion, a great safety
To complete the project, more than 800 tons of reinforced steel from the structure were sent to a local scrap metal recycler. This recycling effort also helped to stimulate the local economy beyond the SRS Recovery Act Project.

I took Bob to the vet clinic today to turn him over to the pound. I explained the situation from my point of view and they mentioned that the owner was in recently asking them if they knew anyone who would take him because she no longer wanted him.
So, I phoned the owner right there in the vet clinic and asked if I could take him - I told her I don't want him for myself but I will find him a home and she said yes! I had her talk to the receptionist right there on the spot and confirm that I am the new owner and his tattoo will now be registered to me. His name was Chong, but I am changing it to Bob. Since he is now my cat, I can do that!
