I'm definitely going to go with a different pattern, one more suited to my body type. I'm uploading these just to participate with the rest of the group. I hope to have another muslin from a different pattern finished by next Monday.

A photo shoot for The Big Issue documenting the trouser company HebTroCo which is based in Hebden Bridge. HebTroCo is a company founded in December 2015 that continues a centuries old tradition as it reinvigorates the manufacturing of trousers in Hebden Bridge which was once know as 'Trouser Town'. Launching exactly one month after the town was devastated by the Boxing Day floods, founders say HebTroCo is part of the rebirth of Hebden Bridge’s economy.
For the shoot we interviewed the founders Brant and Ed as they gave us a tour of the factory and went through the process of how the trousers are manufactured. We were also taken on a visit to the pub where the idea was born.

This image, from 'Ziegfeld Girl' (1941), shows (left) 20-year-old Lana Turner, who plays Sheila Regan in the film, (centre) 19-year-old Judy Garland, who plays Susan Gallagher, and (right) 27-year-old Hedy Lamarr, who plays Sandra Kolter. Miss Turner is wearing a light-coloured scarf round her neck, a light-coloured - probably white - short-sleeve top, and what can only be described as a black mini skirt, at least 25 years before the term entered popular usage. She is also wearing dark-coloured shoes. Although her hairstyle and make-up belong resolutely to the 1940s, her outfit wouldn't have looked out of place in the late Sixties or early Seventies. Miss Garland is wearing a short, dark-coloured apron over what can only be described as a light-coloured, short-sleeve mini dress. She is also wearing light-coloured shoes. And didn't they have lovely legs! Miss Lamarr is wearing a light-coloured, lightweight, one-piece trouser suit with a patterned belt. Mis Garland is sitting on a metal railing, with her arms round the shoulders of her fellow stars.
