Trickshot ^^

John Virgo performs one of his famous trick shots, striking the cue ball into the basket. Unfortunately, the cue ball was not quite doing as JV wanted...

I spent Monday editing photos. All day I was tethered to the computer except for a pleasant respite when I ducked out to bring Anna an iced coffee at rehearsal for Of Moving Color's upcoming performance. So, I didn't have a lot of time to shoot. Instead I set up my super-wide Zenitar 16mm lens on the column of my front porch and shot the reversed image that came through the back element with a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM. It is a neat little trick. The results can be sort of pleasing, sort of reminiscent of a pin-hole camera or of a truly wide 8mm 180degree perspective. That's all I have for right now. Yesterday was about photography but today I have a meeting and need to tend to bar stuff. I shot photos of a bunch of kids at my friend's Tricia and Chuck's house one Saturday. Some of them came out really well and I will be positing them here later as proof that I can take pictures of kids other than the always cute and cooperative Quinn.

Check out more at my blog, Lemons and Beans, for lots of photos, recipes, travel writing and other ramblings. I appreciate any feedback but, please do not post graphic awards or invitations in your comments.
