Pop up on a bitch, like "What's all that shit you talkin' 'bout?"
Colder than the winter but I'm shinin' like the sun
Got designer on my body, got designer for my son
I ain't worry 'bout the press
I can see you pressed, you a mess
Watch your mouth 'fore I'm at you bitches' neck, yeah
Now, is that right?
Ho, is that right?
Heard they catchin' up to me, ho, is that right?
Heard that you had sex with me, oh, is that right?
You could never fuck with me on my bad night
Huh, is that right?
Ho, is that right?
You the one to knock me off, now is that right?
Heard that I stopped goin' hard, now is that right?
I'm a fuckin' superstar, get your facts right
This photo is from my most recent motion graphics piece for Trick Shots Billiards.
I would have posted the video but I decided to keep my Flickr strictly photos.
However, you can still view it on my Vimeo, here. I hope you check it out :)
*Update: I just learned that this was also my first picture on Explore, which made my day. It's something I've always been wishing for.
Or just having fun? This picture was not easy to take. We were using a Kodak disposable water camera. Tait tied it to the zipper on the back of my wetsuit by its rubber leash. I had to catch a wave in front of Tait and, while dropping in, reach behind my back and grab it. Then I had to twist around backwards to aim (because I'm also goofy footed). The only problem is, this would turn my board into the wave, giving me the briefest moment to snap the picture before getting thrown forward. The leash of the camera was just long enough to allow the camera to clock me in the head as I tumbled in the whitewater.
Clint Barton was orphaned at an early age when his parents died in a car accident and was sent to a children's home with his brother Bernard. He and his brother ran away to join the Carson Carnival of Traveling Wonders, and the pair worked as roustabouts. While a member of the circus, Hawkeye was trained by the original Swordsman (Jacques Duquesne) and Trickshot. Clint's life, however, would forever be changed after he stumbled onto the Swordsman counting the money he had just robbed from the carnival. The Swordsman offered Clint to become his partner in crime, but Clint rejected his mentor, sparking a fight that ended when the Swordsman left him for dead after he fell from the high wire. Barney, too, abandoned him, in disbelief that Clint passed up such an opportunity. Trickshot stepped up his role as Clint's mentor, later asking him to join him in raiding a criminal named Marko. However, Clint severely injured one of Marko's guards and discovered him to be his brother, Barney. Repelled by the consequences of his actions (and his mentor's role in prompting them), he abandoned Trickshot and parted on bad terms.

This 4 minute exposure is taken in broad daylight. The 17-stops of filtration helped. A 4-stop Hoya ND filter, stacked with a Lee's Big Stopper, stacked with a 3-stop soft ND Grad to make sure the sky doesn't blow out. I calculated the aperture to be equal to f/3983. :)
It was featured on national TV here this morning, 19th of June 2013. Awesome. :)
It looked like rain so I didn’t take my “proper camera” when we headed down to the Goose Fair, last night. It wasn’t anything like as busy as in previous years but still good fun to walk around and snap away with the Galaxy S21 5G. I spotted this “opportunity” on the way back to the car; four hand-held shots taken rapid-fire as the carousel plummeted back to Earth!
— On the topic of #orange this orange got what it deserved 😁 A simple one-flash setup with a shoot-through brolly. The most difficult thing was to create realistic-looking bloooood ♥️

Hello everyone! I’m back with some more League of Heroes Action! Today, I have 4 characters created by 4 different people. L to R
Trickshot (Created by Jeremy Green
Eagle Patriot (Created by andhe :-)
The Grey Ghost (Created by slight.of.brick
And Danger Man (Created by yours truly
What do you think? What heroes should I make next? New OCs, Marvel, DC, and more coming soon!
-Totally Awesome
Inspired by the statues in Rio and Gateshead (with my daughter's and grand daughter's help), this is the result.
Complicated shot made more complicated by the fact that this is selfie central.
Glass ball on a glass stand with a little wooden stand resting on top. Flipped on the computer.
A small vignette inspired by Andhe's alternate universe contest over at the League of Heroes group.
Here's the premise:
The Crimson Cloak was killed during the events of "The Long Night" storyline. He was not able to survive being shot and diving into a burning building in this reality. Witnessing the death of her childhood hero, Trixie "Trickshot" Dare takes up the mantle of the Crimson Cloak and goes on to help rebuild the shattered League of Heroes.
Comments and favorites always welcome!
Inspired by Jeff Morgan's " The Cat & the Rat".
Two years ago, I saw a picture that impressed me a lot, since then, the picture could not get out of my head, but it took some time until all the parts joined together.
I wanted to copy this work for reasons of curiosity and passion.

Traced this life saver with a sparkler on the beach of the Porkkala peninsula tonight. Turned out rather well with the last light of the sunset lighting the sky in the background.
Thanks to my new friend Veikko that agreed to stick around and help me operate the camera. :)
I have to admit that I bought the Nike Dunk Trickshot set just for the minifig. The build was fun too but the minifig is the highlight of the set to me. She's been walking around Lego City bouncing her basketball (quietly of course) and hanging out with the other athletic minifigs.
I love her sweatshirt :-)
The huge big (very impressive) traveling coaster Olympia Looping (renamed Munchen Looping when in London for some daft Olympics related reason). Tried this pic last year (at night) but the light show did not help, daylight this time and 5 exposures merged into one - they do often run this with multiple trains, but not quite as multiple as this fake shot implies.

With thanks to Pearl and Riley's Snooker Club - new updated image
Lighting:
Each table has a Yongnuo YN560 III on the table edge and pointing up at the light source at 1/16th. 600 watt lamp camera left at half power through brolly. Single strobe camera right, bare at full power. The balls were each individually shot and shutter speeds varied to achieve the movement, light was in each case reduced to accommodate the longer shutter speeds.
It has been well over a year since I have explored flickr or revisited the LoH page. Needless to say, I am taken aback by the vibrant community that has continued to not only flourish, but grow during my absence. I have not left behind the League, I have not forgotten about the heroes that I have created or the group that I helped to find so many years ago. I have been busy actively building the past year. It has been one of the few things that has helped me to maintain my personal wellbeing as I won my battle with cancer and have worked through the untimely loss of my younger brother (who was the real-life inspiration for a few of my characters.) LEGO has continued to pull me through these hard times in my personal life the same way that it has for so many years in the past. I do intend to share my many creations with the flickr community when time permits, and I hope to become more active in the LoH once again.
I would like to thank all of you in the LoH for continuing my ideas forward and keeping this thing alive. Especially Andhe and Quickblade who have been there from the beginning with me crafting this crazy, collaborative world that has been a constant outlet for creativity. It means more to me than you guys can ever imagine.
Thank you gang!

My take on the Dark Avengers which I know isn’t super accurate because Mockingbird and Red Hulk aren’t in it but I kind of wanted a team that could mirror the MCU Avengers but I wanted them all to be “Government” superheroes. So that’s why I picked this lineup Norman Osborn and Ares are in it just to fill up the missing spot of Ironman and Thor
Front: Trickshot, Ares, US Agent, Mockingbird
Back: Thunderbolt Ross
Flying: Norman Osborn
I have a Daken that I’m not sure if I want to include in this lineup because I feel like Wolverine is never really a traditional part of the Avengers. I can include Noh-Varr, and Decapitator maybe even Ghost and Yellow Jacket but I literally don’t want it to just be a hero/villain swap out I want some unique customs. I also don’t want it to just be filled with actual members of the Dark Avengers. So I need to do a marvel deep dive and see what characters are similar to each other that could work for this. Maybe someone like Atlas who served briefly in the Military.

Assembling The Avengers - Day 3: Hawkeye
In anticipation of the upcoming Avengers movie I started building some pieces to be displayed at my local comic shop on FCBD this Saturday. Even though I started these around the first of March, I've just managed to get them finished in time and snapped some photos with the help of my Wife.
I wrote an article on FBTB back in October about LEGO costuming and have been experimenting with it a great deal since then. I have many projects in the works and some will probably never be widely seen, but being a Marvel Zombie I could not miss this opportunity to create a tribute to some of my favourite Avengers.
Some info on Hawkeye's weapons from Marvel.com
Hawkeye he used bow and "trick" arrows such as: flares, explosives, putty, sonic blasts, buzz saws, electrical discharge, suction cups, tear gas, smoke bombs, bolas, nets, rockets, and boomerangs.
Thank you to my lovely Wife for taking these photos for me!
Just one more day to go...
When you're out at night one has to take the opportunity for some light painting. Again, thanks to Veikko for sticking around and helping me out.
Handwritten note on the back of this photo: "Aunt Maggie trick shot by Art."
Aunt Maggie certainly played her cards right! This trick photo uses a double exposure to make it look like she's playing cards with her doppelgänger.
This is an undated photo mounted on cardboard (see full photo) with no further identification of "Aunt Maggie" or her photographer "Art."
A Vintage Photos Theme Park photo for the theme of playing a trick: high jinks.
So, I had this brainstorm to hang all of my League of Heroes minifigures on the bedroom wall at 1:00 AM. Thanks to 3M adhesive strips and a large grey base plate my bedroom has never had better protection.
For the record, this is currently ALL of the LoH characters I've created up to now. There are many characters in this picture that I've created, but they haven't appeared in any of my stories. Also, there are alternate dimension and secret identity figures on display as well as alternate costume versions of established characters.
Have fun squinting, and feel free to steal this idea for displaying your collection!
League of Heroes: Ascent
Episode 3: Darkest Before Dawn - Part 1
Five figures race across the rooftops towards the explosions in Midtown. New Brickton is held in a grip of chaos. The city is helpless against the onslaught of the alien being known as Celedon the Destroyer. She was released from her cryogenic prison by the nefarious villain the Skull for just one reason, to test the reunited band of crime fighters known as the League of Heroes.
Having just united as a team, the new League of Heroes is at a disadvantage. They are untrained and outmatched by Celedon. However, the team does not take time to dwell on their shortcomings. As the light of a new dawn bathes the crumbling city in a welcomed light, all the heroes can do is move forward toward the bedlam and confront the threat head on. They carry the fate of the city on their shoulders.
This was built for the League of Lego Heroes Group… www.flickr.com/groups/llh/

Name: Trickshot
Secret Identity: Trixie Dare
Age: 18
Skills/Powers:
* Opportunity Awareness - Trixie has the ability to instantly recognize the most beneficial opportunity available to her. This power manifests itself most visually in her ability to discern the most effective and non-lethal shot to take in the fraction of a second.
* Sharpshooter - Innate ability to accurately utilize all types of firearms.
* Heightened Reflexes and Dexterity
* Peak Physical Conditioning
Weapons:
* Dual pistols
* Anything can be a weapon in Trickshot’s hands.
Background/Origin Story: Trixie “Trickshot” Dare grew up alone on the rough side of town. Her parents were shot down in a robbery gone wrong, and Trixie was left to fend for herself. Throughout her youth, she got into her fair share of trouble running with a gang known as the “Wreckers” who soon adopted her as part of their family. The “Wreckers” specialized in vandalizing and petty theft. These crimes would often get Trixie noticed by the New Brickton police, and she eventually built up an lengthy record of offenses. Trixie discovered her innate ability to “always hit her target” while evading the police, and she soon used it to her benefit to remain one step ahead of the law.
When she reached adolescence, Trixie began following the career of the Crimson Cloak with great interest. Initially, she hoped to become his sidekick, but after dozens of refusals from the grim hero. She instead decided to go out on her own and become a lone vigilante.
Due to the nature of her parent’s death, Trixie was instilled with a strong sense of justice. Though her moral compass may seem a little skewed at times. Trixie also refrains from killing, instead she opts to use her pistols as tools to bring criminals to justice as opposed to committing the same acts of violence that left her orphaned.

Clinton Barton was a former circus worker and criminal turned hero, who received his archery skills as a young boy through training with Swordsman and Trickshot. Barton would eventually join both the East Coast and West Coast branches of The Avengers, even leading at one time.
Since I have all of a dozen purple parts in multiple shades, I had no choice but to skip Hawkeye's mask and move on to building a functional bow and arrows. What can I say, I like a challenge.
Thank you to my lovely Wife for taking these photos for me!
