Series of shots taken with the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art and the Sigma 150mm f/2.8. In this photo there are several exposures blended together to create an effect of transitions from day to night.
Hope you enjoy my new favorite pic! :)

PS: the mountain you see here is the Monviso (IT) and if you look carefully you'll see that there's a little shooting star too right on the top of the photo
Amsterdam - Joh. M. Coenenstraat.
Housing block (1923), designed by architect J. F. Staal.
Styles of architecture: the fantasy of the Amsterdam School and the rationality of the New Objectivity meet here.
In dit blok aan de Coenenstraat is mooi de overgang te zien van de Amsterdamse School naar de meer orthogonale bouwwijze van de Nieuwe Zakelijkheid (amsterdamse-school.nl).
I’ve been savoring the warm, sunny days lately as much as possible. The temps will change abruptly and we’ll enter the half of year that’s more cold, gloomy, damp, and/or windy more than anything.

Automne devient Hiver
Dernière photo partagée avant un petit voyage en Belgique et aux Pays Bas... J'espère que la neige sera au rendez-vous pour de nouvelles photos !
A bientôt et merci de me suivre ! ;)
This is a juvenile Little Blue Heron foraging in the water hyacinth on Horsepen Bayou! You will notice that his white feather are beginning to tarnish and turn gray on the back and the upper part of the wings! He's still carrying the pastel colors on the lores and the beak! He'll soon transition into his slate blue body with plum colors on his neck and head!

Good morning/day to you, hope your week is going well? Here in Chicago we are anticipating Spring Equinox. Shooting in the city all the days coming up to it, and after it really gets fun. Deep defined shadows, strong pronounced highlights and sharp angles, it’s a dream for architecture photography. What do you think?
The transition between autumn and winter can be either slow or fierce. It's not very common that we get such fierce snow conditions in the middle of the November when a lot of trees are still in full autumn colors. I was specifically looking for an isolated birch tree which is golden and orange at the end of the autumn season.

These two dandelions were side by side on the front lawn. I thought I'd converge them to show how this flower transitions from one stage to the next.
That was a year and a half ago. That was summer. When I began to work with this series, I broke my monitor and created the images on plasma TV instead of the computer monitor (nightmare experience, but somehow, I managed to get in explore with one of them). My computer suddenly died, just didn’t turned on, as if passed away in a sleep. But from here it all looks so unimportant: there was the pre-war times, and no one could imagine what would happen. Excluding the masters of war, of course.
Yesterday my beautiful friend and favourite model Kate Bardina celebrated her birthday and I want to congratulate her the best way I can – creating some new art. There’s my usual manner – to congratulate a day later. If ever.
An evening of many transitions. Day turning into night, Traffic leaving work or coming home, empty parking lots changing into new opportunities.
Waterfalls have this uncanny ability to provide a peaceful escape from a world of overbusy activity. Time stands still. You can breathe. You can begin to think clearly again. Here's to you finding your waterfall.

I've made a couple of stitched panoramas in the past where one side looks like a different scene to the other. Last week in Broxbourne I had the opportunity to make another. Unfortunately the buzzard that was sitting in the trees on the left flew away during the exposure. I don't think I'm cut out for wildlife photography anyway.
Another addition to the WSOR roster in recent years has come from the acquisition of five former Norfolk Southern GP59's from MEI. WAMX 5900, 5901 (both with built in RCO), 5904, 5906, and 5907 were brought on to replace four GP38s and one GP39-2 which have since been dispersed to other Watco properties.
From my personal experience operating these engines, I can see why only 36 of them were produced with NS as the only buyer. They really are odd ducks in the EMD GP series, and they make precise switching/spotting of cars rather difficult due to the irregular loading. One positive thing I will say is MEI did a fantastic job painting these engines into WSOR colors, and the really pop when photographed.
A very late westbound L867 is seen with an exceptionally long train for this section of the Reedsburg sub, just west of North Freedom, WI. WAMX 5907 and the 30+ ballast cars on the headend, had spent the majority of the day dumping rock between Merrimac and Devils Lake. After snagging the customer traffic from the pass in Baraboo, the local made a hail Mary west for the Co-op in Rock Springs where they would expire for hours and pick up the following morning.

This image was taken at Kyance Cove in Cornwall.
The final image you see was created using five images. This was luck as I not planned this.
The night before had teased a possible chance but had to in the end return empty. I thought that was my only chance, however the following night there was a surprise opportunity. Like the night before the conditions were windy, so that ruled out using a star tracker.
What I had in mind didn't happen, instead the clouds you can see were approaching but would pass. To combat the wind, I decided to position myself to the side to attempt to minimize any shake.
Perhaps not awarding winning and plenty I would like to do differently but considering the conditions I'm happy with what I came away with.
