The Durango & Silverton train winds its way through the foothills of Colorado's San Juan Mountains. I was in the Durango area last week and couldn't resist a quick capture of it.
Nishitetsu, shortened to NNR, is a private railway within the Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co. transportation conglomerate. First established in 1908, the railway serves the main city of Fukuoka with smaller suburban communities along its Omuta Main Line, and other smaller branch lines in the vast, fertile Chikushi Plain. While not as large as other private lines in Japan, they are the largest in Kyushu. Their fleet is varied, but their main draw is their iconic turquoise and red trains that cris cross their network.

Without doubt the bright lights of the latest fashion on private railways is very photogenic. Here we see a guard checking the doors of his train at Kingswear station before the service heads back to Paignton.

I went to take some photos of trains with a friend for the first time, something different. However, I know next to nothing about trains, so hence the simple title - train.
Just realised I didn't have a photo for today, so here are the trainers I bought this afternoon.
Not a very exciting photo, but it's a photo -----2019 one photo each day.

An evening over Vauxhall as the trains pass by creating fantastic trails.
Granted this shot would have been a lot more impressive with an actual train running through it and i was quite prepared to wait it out. The proposal was voiced. The wife did not see the value of sitting in the car an additional 2 hours waiting for a train we weren't going to get on given we were already set to drive 5 hours to get home that day. A vote was taken. The vote count was 1 for and 1 against. As you can see --- no train.
Another one of those shoot it while you can moments. GMD1 1438 trails on a southbound local on the Camrose Subdivision. 2018-04-07

33% of Via's Park Car fleet still on the roster sits at the Pacific Central Station platforms. There are minor differences between the Prince Albert Park car that we rode in #1 and the other three cars that sit next to it in Vancouver.
I used the wide angle lens to get the whole picture. The distortion made the pic more dynamic, the train looked powerful and strong.
