We had a 3 hour stop in Toyama on way to Takayama so took a ride on the local tram down to the castle park.

称名滝
弥陀が原から流れ落ちる立山山系の滝。落差日本一のこの滝、一度は近くから眺めてみたいと思っていました。望遠レンズで撮ると落下地点は大迫力でした。
ついでに右側のチョロチョロした滝は、ハンノキ滝と呼ばれ、常時流れているわけではないので滝ランキングからは除外されているそうですが、その落差は称名滝を遥かに上回っているとのことです。
Onomatopoeia roof garden at the Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art and Design. The garden features play equipment around the theme of onomatopoeia words, common in Japanese. This one is "hiso hiso" (ひそひそ), or 'whispering'. At the ends of the tubes are funnels so you can whisper to listeners at the other end of the tube.
