My final for Printmaking. I used Relief and Intaglio. Also, Cheesecloth was used for the pattern seen in the middle one.
The concept was about human's obsession with time.
I removed this tick from one of our dogs eye lids this morning. It was the size of a pin head It didn't get much of a feed!

Totally stuck in the tick spoon slot, I was able to get a better look. I suspect this was an adult female deer tick.
Ahhhhh. A sure sign that summer is coming. My first this year, found on my leg. Now I'm feeling them all over me.
One of 'our favorite' character : A square-jawed, muscular, bright blue figure with antennae sticking up from his head, the Tick is a surreal parody of superheroes. The Tick is high-spirited, frequently obtuse, and prone to quipping odd, dim remarks and "inspirational" speeches filled with bizarre metaphors.

The flowers of the Sessile Tick Trefoil are tiny about 1/4 inch in diameter. It is listed on one web site I visited as a threatened Ohio wildflower and has already disappeared in some areas of its east coast and mid west range This photo taken in Sept 2011 at Middle Island near Newport Ohio and St. Marys West Virginia. Middle Island is part of the Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge.

Hard-tick / flått (lat. Ixodes Ricinius), bloodsucking arthropod, in fear of carrying TBE(Tickborne encephalitis virus) and Lyme disease (Borrelia burgdorferi). Shot on my hand with a Canon G12 powershot, I like the macrocapability of this compact camera!
