Open your eyes, look within. Are you satisfied with the life you're living?

Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you riding through the ruts, don't complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don't bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live!

I thought about going to the gym today. Considering the copious amounts of fat deposits forming around my ex-waist - it seemed like a good idea. So I went there. Once I found the place it was quite a pleasant experience. I clicked photographs of the exercise balls, the treadmills and those thingamajigs with weights to pull. Lots of industrial symmetry. New Year Resolution - go to gym. Check.

Arrived in Jakarta and already stuck in traffic. Not to fret, time to practice some shots. Here another one for the "Through the Window" project. A mini bus (lots of those around here) with two passengers on the backseat lost in thought, shot from the taxi through the windshield. Pardon the lack of sharpness. The windows were rather dirty...

Will be travelling for the next 3 weeks with little time for the interwebz...

Edited with Microsoft Office Picture Manager 2007.

Part of my final project for my analogue class entitled 'Distilling Thoughts: an investigation into genres'.

We had to look into a specific genre of photography and 'warp' it, somewhat. I chose portraiture.

My work investigates the insecurities we all possess. Through concealing the face of subjects, the people presented lose fragments of their identity. My main motive behind the action of concealing their faces is to expose the fact that we all have faults and fears which we wish to hide from society and those who are particularly close to us. We all have things to be ashamed of and sometimes we try to fool ourselves and we let things slip and allow people to see beyond our 'veil'.

Technically, my eyes are SOOC. I just pasted a new layer of a b/w version on top, and erased the part of my eyes so the color would show. My eyes are funky-colored.

The Thought-Fox

I imagine this midnight moment's forest:

Something else is alive

Beside the clock's loneliness

And this blank page where my fingers move.

Through the window I see no star:

Something more near

Though deeper within darkness

Is entering the loneliness:

Cold, delicately as the dark snow

A fox's nose touches twig, leaf;

Two eyes serve a movement, that now

And again now, and now, and now

Sets neat prints into the snow

Between trees, and warily a lame

Shadow lags by stump and in hollow

Of a body that is bold to come

Across clearings, an eye,

A widening deepening greenness,

Brilliantly, concentratedly,

Coming about its own business

Till, with a sudden sharp hot stink of fox

It enters the dark hole of the head.

The window is starless still; the clock ticks,

The page is printed.

He climbed and walked and climbed and walked and kept finding intriguing objects. He inspected each one of them curiously. He wished He could keep every new object in His mind, but it wasn't easy. The idea of naming things using some organized language crossed His thoughts, but He abandoned it at once: what would He need a language for if He didn't have any other creature to communicate with? (to be continued)

If you want to know how it all started, you can watch it here, but I wouldn't give a damn if I were you.

I liked the way the light hit her here. Also the pose and the way she looks like she was somewhere else

They thought I was with the Gazette (local paper). They had a very difficult time getting this thing on the trailer. I don't think they were drunk because it was mid afternoon. Funny to watch anyway.

An pic by me of what Sasuke might have been thinking of when he left Konoha and went to seek Orochimaru.

I've grown tired of staring at this in Photoshop for the last 3 weeks, so I've finally decided to post it. I'm not sure if I want to revise it yet.

This was inspired by a simple sketch I drew in a notebook, which was inspired by my constant thinking. One day I just felt like there was some kind of garden growing out of my head because my mind just would not stop.

My project explores the idea of what’s deep within our mind… For some reason all of these things here were the first things that were in my mind. To gain inspiration for this i looked at Lynn Skordal’s photoshop work. I liked her idea of combining all these random thoughts and putting them in someones head so i wanted to do the same. Upon evaluating her work, I noticed how she layered all her different layers and made it seem like it was all piled up as if the subjects thoughts are in a jumble. This project reflects my feelings because every subject within the “pile” isone of my own thoughts. I don’t know why gargoyles and davy jones were the first things to come to mind but they were. This project was frustrating for a 1 reason… layering. It was especially annoying to layer everything accordingly and took a bit of thinking. Originally i was going to have guns shooting money out of the guys head as well but unfortunately it wasn’t really school appropriate so I ended up scrapping that idea. I think this project is a success because It makes the viewer think about what’s deep within their own mind. Also because I think this shows my progress within photoshop. I think if I was to do something like this again I would try to implement a color scheme.

I thought that I would go for a short walk from home with telephoto lens to photo cow parsley and other blossom.

Every thought that we have it will reflect us.
