I'm practicing taking pictures with my remotely tethered Canon DigiRebel and lightroom. Works like a charm, now i just need to get something more interesting to take a picture of.

One cool thing about New Zealand is that they have a massive tidal swing. Like 9m or something absurd like that. So in coastal areas like Abel Tasman you get these huge bays that empty out at low tide and there will be boats beached out there in the middle of nowhere and shellfish lying all about like a wasteland.
