Nationaal Brandweermuseum Hellevoetsluis (Est.1963) - the total surface of this national fire brigade museum is approximately 3,000 m², making it the largest fire brigade museum in the Netherlands. It is just enough for the large collection of historic and old fire engines and other emergency services equipment.
The museum is located in the former large warehouse of the Dutch navy and a Kuiperij from 1786, near the end of the Dutch golden age. The Groot Magazijn was a repository for masts, chains, sails and other ship supplies with which the warships of the Dutch navy were supplied from the Vestinghaven of Hellevoetsluis. The Kuiperij also made wooden barrel beacons for pilotage. A small part of the warehouse is used by the City Museum. Hellevoetsluis used to be an important defence a Dutch navy base the main navy for centuries. It's a very nice location whith lots of history to be found.

I had to kick a few boxes out of my way to get a closeup of these switches. That top row may have shone bright green when turned on.
Formed in Cleveland moved to Akron and went back to Cleveland. Sounds to me like end 1960s garage rock. Not bad. Mixed by Crocus Benemoth aka David Thomas of Pere Ubu.
This antique board is sitting pretty much precisely where Ailsie Hansell was sitting in the ca 1915 picture posted of her on my photo feed. It may even be the same brand. It is very close.
While I was wandering in this dead factory, I really was think about some zombie movie. Some place in there was really like a Science Research Center. I tried to go in a strange Lab but it was completely locked.. :(
I think I could have met some Biters in the darkness of some corridors... hopefully, I came back alive of this mess! :D

On the Queen Mary
On the sign:
"The Queen Mary's telephone switchboard was the center of her complex communications system. Originally located on 'B' Deck, the switchboard included positions for up to three operators handling 585 shipboard lines and 10 shore lines. The board is divided in to color-coded steward's sections for the four main passenger decks, with the steward's pantry phone located at the end of each row. Other areas and departments are individually marked."
