I have a shopping list with all the things I buy in the in order in the supermarket (I rarely have to change it). I add things from time to time. I put a pencil mark against the things I need. As you see the old list has got very worn so I'm starting on a fresh photocopy. A4 is a little too large so I'm trimming it down – using my handy penknife of course.

Even my old Swiss army knife became a subject for the camera.

Strobist information:

Big (relative to the knife) softbox above and angled to bounce light to the lens creating the specular highlights on the blades. A small soft box camera left to give shape to the non-metallic parts. I can’t remember the specific settings, but the overhead light was adjusted to create the desired specular highlights on the blades and the side light was set for the exposure relative to the highlights.

In my pocket for Halloween, October 31, 2016, my black alox Victorinox Pioneer SAK (Swiss Army Knife) with paracord wrist lanyard.

I took the wrist strap off my Sony RX100III camera to take this photo. It's fiddly to get the thin cord through the loop on the camera - my Swiss Army Knife does the job 😀

Why a Swiss Army Phone might not be such a great idea after all.

Really cool, actually, these Swiss Army Knife presentation gizmos will include up to a 64GB flash drive, a laser pointer and a bluetooth-based clicker that lets you control your presentation directly from the gizmo. I want one. :-)

My old electric toothbrush, which my wife bought in 2000, has stopped working so I bought a new one today. The packaging took some removing. Happily I had my Swiss Army Knife to hand.

As a fully fledged adventurer I know that all you need to bring is a ruck sack to store your treasure and a Swiss Army knife to ensure you can deal with any situation possible. For we’re here visiting the legendary adventurers guild II.

When this tree was planted some years ago, it was attached to a post to give it support. The tree has grown well and the support has rotted but the tie is still binding them tightly together and will restrict the tree's growth – so I'm cutting it free.

The retaining bolt on one of the arms of my book chair came out so I'm screwing it back in using two Swiss Army knives: one to push the spring up and the other to screw up the bolt.

Using an Xacto knife, and hobby files, I modded my SAK's scale to include a slot for adding the pen. In prevous attempts to remove the scale I damaged it, and now use poster putty to ensure the scale's hold.

Given the chance, I'd have rather bought a "Plus" scale for the knife, but I wanted to get the pen installed before I had the chance

For a "Welcome to Canada" party for a friend's Swiss boyfriend.

Blade & knife are not edible... too rushed to wait for gumpaste to dry

My older Victorinox Ranger Model Swiss Army Knife was damaged while cutting off the top of a tree (yes, a tree) that was felled by a beaver. While I was cutting on the tree, the trunk flexed and bent the saw up pretty badly. A friend got me a new SAK to replace it, but I've longed to get my old one fixed.

Due to financial limitations, It took 2 years and 2 months for me to afford to get it repaired. It's on its way home now :D

You can count on it getting some serious loving on (Plus Scales, Pen, Pin, Miniature Screwdriver), and of course... Photos.

I had to order another after a refund from Amazon. 23/7/24 p60 Accounts book...

I disputed this with WestPac, the girl in Qld had not heard of the Bank of New South Wales!!!

The Westpac App suggested calling 1300 490 152

My idea of what a real geek Swiss army knife should look like. Because let's be honest; R2D2 is the ultimate Swiss army knife. Modeled in 3DS Max and rendered with VRAY.

I'm helping to sort the books at St Mary's Church Southgate Crawley ready for the book sale at 10am Saturday 2 November.

I'm just cutting down a large box to make it more suitable to display the books … using my trusty Swiss Army Knife of course

I later disassembled this Gladiator for the possibility to of scratchbuilding or casting some small parts for other models.

As it's the last day of February, I suppose I must take down my Christmas cards. I'm using the tin-opener blade on my Swiss Army Knife to take the drawing pins out.

Detail of a 2-inch Swiss Army knife. I can't count the number of times it has come in handy. Why McGuyver didn't carry one, I'll never know... seems like the perfect tool for him. :o)

Designed by Jeremy Shafer. Folded by Phillip West.

I was cycling along the path and came upon this branch across the way – so I whipped out my SAK Champ and cut it off.

(I've lost my SAK Explorer so I'm carrying the bulky Champ at present … otherwise I wouldn't have had a saw :)

After the talk at Theos we went to one of the committee rooms in the House of Commons and Dave Landrum, the Bible Society Parliamentary Officer, told us about his work.

(I had to leave my Swiss Army Knife at home as it wouldn't have been allowed in the Houses of Parliament :(

Every day, those are in my pockets.

Wenger Wednesday: Translucent gray scaled Highlander, EvoGrip 18, translucent blue Commander, black scaled Traveler variant, and Eddie Bauer edition Traveler variant, each with a lanyard/fob.

I gave this little knife to my wife.
