Finally I had a rest and takes some converse that they walked by

10 f-15 fighter jets have been in Grenada for the past 5 days as part of the preparations for President Obama's visit to Trinidad for the Summit of the Americas.
These aircraft are from the Eglin AFB in Florida, and part of the 33rd Fighter Wing there. They were apparently one of the units engaged in Urgent Fury back in ’83, when the USAF came to Grenada to restore the peace after Coard's faction of the revolutionary government murdered Maurice Bishop and his cabinet.
Some of these aircraft (or parts of them) are over 30 years old, and may in fact be the same ones that were involved in that operation.
This pilot was cool enough to roll over for me to get this shot. He kept flying straight, and I'm pretty sure he just did this for those of us standing out in the sun shooting pictures. Thanks Capt!!!!!

Painted in Zagreb, Croatia with Belin, Lunar, Senk, Dock, Chat, Sace and Agios at the new Museum of Contemporary Art.
Got an invite from The Danish Embassy in Zagreb, Croatia to paint at this EUrban Jam. It was a quick, nice painting session with very limited space and cans. The whole weekend was supercool, thanks to Lunar and his crew and locals at the Embassy for taking care of everything.

I am so madly in love with this manifest of human engineering skills that I barely dare going to sleep, afraid that it might just have been a figment of my imagination and not be next to my bed anymore when I do my wakey-wakey ;-)
I've spend lots of time looking at the latest mobile models and this one caught my eye from the first moment, months before it even arrived in the shops, all it took was a nicely designed corporate website with some shiny pictures of this cool device and I was sold, impatiently anticipating the moment when I'd finally be able to get my shaky hands on this worthy replacement of my beloved S700i after 3 1/2 years of heavy use with 10s of thousands of pictures shot...
And then, one evening, it finally entered my life, by special delivery, and blew me off my feet...until I discovered a BIG ASS scratch just under the display, aaaarrrggghhhh!!!
I called the T Mobile customer service the next day, told them about the scratch (that was ironically situated on the little 'T Mobile' name tag that they forced onto the otherwise perfect surface of my little helper), and we agreed that they'd deliver a new one asap and that I could meanwhile console myself by playing with the Scarfaced one already in my possession.
That arrangement made me so happy that I went outside to play in the sun, where I discovered that the scratch was actually on this tiny strip of protection foil placed on the name tag, underneath the usual foil covering the screen of every new mobile! It took me 1 1/2 days to realize this fact, understandably, because I had tried rubbing off the scratch the previous night, and it gave no indication that it was not in fact an ordinary scratch, but rather the opposite...damn these dark winter days where something like this can happen, hahaha :D
So, in conclusion, get this phone if you can and become a T Mobile customer, they're clearly worthy of my/your monthly payments, good customer service, yay :)

I’m a homeschooler. Never been to any educational institution so far. The closest thing I’ve been to a school was last year, when I worked as a kindergarten teacher for a few months (didn’t like it, so I quit). I’m supposed to have finished my education and graduated from university by now. But I’m not in a hurry!
Homeschooling had its ups and downs. But from my experience, I think the advantages are more.
So here are the 10 things I like (or liked) about homeschooling :)
1- Not having to study physics and social studies!!
2- Not having my brain stuffed with information I’ll eventually forget
3- Watching other students agonize over exams, while I’m just chillin’!
4- Going to amusement parks on Mondays, and not having to stand for hours waiting for a ride :D
5- Making spontaneous trips in the middle of the week
6- Being creative and unique
7- Not having to suffer peer pressure or become a victim of bullying
8- Having an independent opinion and not being a slave to what’s “in”
9- Having enough time to discover my talents
10- Having a chance to develop my personality without any pressures

Darn those white roofs! They had a go in Bolton at trying to increase the economy of this Dommie. They dropped the accelerator pedal. But they didnt adjust or disconnect the connection to the gearbox. When new, the harder you pressed the gas pedal, the higher the speed the gearbox changed up. But I drove this earlier in the day, you had to press the pedal right down to try and get power from it, but that told the gearbox to stay in gear. The only way to get it to change was to release the pedal. BANG and the gearbox would then change, but not under load as designed. They had converted it into an absolute cripple with no power. Eventually the gearbox blew up. Was told £11,000 for a new one. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. So here we have the very rare sight of a Dommie with a queue of traffic behind! I was with a couple of friends who were running towards the train. Philippe helped me unfold the tripod and then I could make this one. The other guys had disappeared by then.. BTW, it will be a good experience to go visit the New Asia Bar which is on the 72nd floor of the same hotel.

Happy Womens day to all the cheerful and loving ladies on Flickr :) I am sure you have supercool plans for tomorrow. We, in my office had week long celebration with numerous competitions, presentations, a 2-day exhibition by a local NGO. Overall it was a pleasant week and I really enjoyed all the special attention I & my women colleagues got :)
Guys, don't feel left out. Its only yesterday that I came to know that 19th Nov is International Mens Day! So you too will get all the attention and gifts on 19th Nov if you keep the lady or ladies in your life happy! So make sure you dont forget to wish your special lady tomorrow :)

I took this shot with an EPSON R-D1s and a Leica 21mm f/1.4 Summilux lens.
Leica Meister in Berlin was friendly enough to loan this (used) Noctilux to me so I enjoyed walking around in the center of Germany's capital, Berlin. As the day came to an end and light was getting low, I wanted to capture a shot of this lens.
Photo was cropped and altered in LR2 and PS CS3, using the Silver Efex Pro Plug-In.
