A little card for the Lawnscaping challenge. Love these Lawn Fawn leaves and I thought the sentiment was a perfect match. #lawnfawn #stitchedleaves #stitchedrectangles #simonsaysstamp #thankfulheart #lawnscapingchallenge #tim_holtz #distressinks #thedaily

Card I made for Mix it Up Challenge by Ellen Hutson and CAS(E) this Sketch!

My entry to the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge. I used the Basic Stripes set to create the plaid background, Stitched Rectangle dies to cut the panel, and the Painted Hello die for the sentiment. The only non-Simon product I used were the Stitched Leaves from Lawn Fawn. I added Clear Wink of Stella to the hello and then Glossy Accents on top. It looks really pretty IRL. My favorite thing about fall are the changing leaves. I moved to southwestern Arizona a couple of years ago and I always love going back home to Indiana at this time of year to see all the beautiful color!

My entry into the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge 31. I used the Apple of My Pie set for those cute leaves and the Stitched Rectangle dies for my panel.

Entry for the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge #20. I used the Ice Cream Dream stamp set and the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

Resubmitting. I made this card for a friend of mine who is going through a painful divorce. Just wanted to let her know I'm here if she wants or needs anything.

The use of sponged dye inks to make a background was inspired by my friend Suzanne's (stampersuzz's) Birthday Card. She did such an excellent job with the technique that she made it look easy! Her sponged inks are soft and transition smoothly. I just had to try it!

I made the backgrounds for the stamped images and sentiment using white cardstock and dye inks. I used Broken China Distress Ink and New Sprout Memento dye ink. I sponged the inks onto the white cardstock using a sponge pouncer from the stenciling section of my big box craft store.

On top of that I stamped Hero Arts' H4039 Stitched Rectangles using VersaFine Vintage Sepia ink. Then I stamped Inkadinkado's 97163 Flourished Fall Tree inside of the triple stitched rectangles. Then I trimmed the cardstock and mounted it onto dark brown cardstock.

For the sentiment, I used Hero Arts' CL129 Anytime Messages. I used a corner rounder and edged the piece with VersaFine Vintage Sepia ink. I punched two holes using a 1/8" punch and tied a piece of green ribbon through it.

Finally, I assembled the card. To finish it off, I used Hero Arts' CH130 Citron Gemstones.

Thanks for looking!

Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge 37 couldn't have come at a better time! Anything Goes is perfect to mesh up with Online Card Classes newest Watercoloring class!

I used Stitched Rectangles to cut my watercolor piece down and stamped the greeting from Big Scripty Greetings.

My first attempt at no-line copic coloring. Added to a watercolored background with a die cut sentiment (small hello) from Simon Says Stamp. Pretty Pink Posh sequins. I'm entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge for Favorite Technique. I used a watercolor wash background which is one of my very favorite things to do!

Okay, this is the explanation for this craziness - my grandparents had a pink aluminum tree that they used every Christmas when I was a kid. It was glittery and sparkly and I remember it very fondly. I coated the die cut in tree in clear Wink of Stella to give it that sparkle I remember before I inlaid it in the panel.

Another entry into the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge 34. I can't keep my hands off this Heart of Roses die!

Supplies:

Heart of Roses and Congratulations die (Simon Says Stamp)

Stitched Rectangles (Simon Says Stamp)

Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh

Background created with Gansai Tambi Watercolors

My entry to the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge 29. Definitely not my go-to color combination, but I did what I could without involving bees! Uses the Stitched Rectangles dies and Big Birthday Wishes. Pretty Pink Posh sequins in Sunshine Glow and Onyx.

some Lawn Fawn friends got together to wish them a happy 5th birthday. glad to be a part of the hop. you can start from the beginning here: shurk.us/lawnfawn-5thbday . my post can be seen here: www.ishouldbesleepingbut.blogspot.com/

I made some gift card holders as a gift for a friend. I used the stitched snowflakes to embellish some of the holders. I will be putting a set into the clear bag that I made using the goodie bag die. The gift card holder fits perfectly inside the bag. I also made a Christmas light tag to add extra cuteness.

I wanted to make a Christmas card with a wreath. I used the Stitched Scalloped Borders dies to make the "leaves." I cut out a 2 1/2 inch circle "donut" using the Circle Stackables dies and adhered 2 rows of large scallops, 2 rows of medium scallops and a single row of small double scallops to the donut. I mounted the wreath on two stitched squares, one on point which was embossed with an all-over pattern and embossed with gold on the edges. I mounted that on a craft square also embossed with gold on the front and on the edges. This second square was flat. I mounted the whole thing to my red card base cut with the largest Stitched Rectangle die and had a gold ribbon in the middle lengthwise. I used three tiny bows from Put a Bow in it cut from red card stock and placed that on the bottom of the wreath. I adhered Mini Snowflakes and some red pearls to the wreath. Finally, I die cut 3 "enjoy"s from the Small Stitched Envelope dies, stacked and glued them together and cut off the "en" and placed it on the side of the card.

I used the Heart of Roses die as the main focal point for this card. I cut a larger heart out of vellum and then used my Copics to create the stained glass effect behind the die.

Stamps: Happy Everything (Mama Elephant)

Sequins: Silver 4mm and 6mm (Pretty Pink Posh)
