Three delicious thai duck spring rolls for $3.50. The duck flavour was subtle but very delicious.

Lumpia Shanghai are Filipino spring rolls with a filling made mainly of pork and shrimp. Other ingredients used in the filling can vary and might include carrots, water chestnuts, onions, peas, etc. The ones pictured here I made with ground pork, shrimp, water chestnuts, and onions.
We decided to have a chinese naughty night . Octo had the chicken chow mein with crunchy noodle's. this was very yummy. i have my taste back (yeah)!!
Went for dinner with paprika yesterday to our new favourite restaurant Dessert Trends at Harbord & Spadina. They have the prettiest desserts but it was the first time we had dinner there, and it was very very delicious. Everything was delicately made and the presentation was very photo-worthy. I was glad I went home prior to dinner to grab my camera.
We sat by the French windows, where the natural light made for easy to capture photos.

I love chinese food. Of course, I can never make it as good as the restaurants do, but this is my attempt.
Now, this is a springroll. Wrapped in rice paper and deep fried, is a generous mix of crab and prawns. You eat it with rice noodles, green left vegetables and a sweet chili fish sauce. This is delicious. I shall search for this dish everywhere when I return home.
Eating!

Filled with mixed mushrooms and truffle ($6/2 pc).
Couldn't detect the truffle component (nor do I think it was necessary at all).
