Kielder Water in Northumberland. I took this photo a couple of years ago and was going to post a nearby shot whilst trialing Capture One Pro software, but hadn't quite got to grips with it properly at the time and didn't bother, so I thought it worth processing and uploading this shot now that I have more of a feel for the way the software renders out from Raw files. It took me a little longer to start gaining a decent grip of how to use it process out to monochrome. So, this shot has been processed from Raw to monochrome and split-toned in Capture One Pro 20.

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. As with my previous 'Yellow Turban' upload, it was a matter of striking colour catching my eye. I have learned that turban colour can hold some significance in meaning but can also just simply be a matter of personal choice.
Some extensive post editing in Photoshop for some cinematic orange and teal split tone and normalisation of skin tone following that. Enjoy all of the fine detail by viewing large - just press 'L' or click on the image.

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. The shot really suited to remain in colour with a nice selection of blues and orange/brown in the frame to compliment the subject. Added a very subtle split tone processing to compliment this. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!
Split-toned version of the Corpach wreck as seen from astern. Processed to mono and then split toned in Capture One Pro 21.
Old Scots Pines, Oaks, Hazels, Birch and Ash trees line the slopes of Glen Nevis on the pathway to Steall Gorge and waterfall. The sun was breaking through the clouds, providing some enchanting lighting for a contre-jour shot. I couldn't decide whether to post this split-toned version or the colour version and may post the colour version at a later date, but opted for this one first. It was processed from raw to monochrome and split-toned in Capture One Pro 21. Best when viewed (L)arge.
I tried out split toning in Photoshop. Then, for effect, I added a quote which has nothing to do with the photo so that I can lend it some credibility. How clever am I?!
My entry for this week's Macro Mondays Challange, Eraser(s).
I found these lurking in my future in-laws' drawing stuff. The combination of hard and soft erasers and their unique shape caught my attention!

Rain clouds over Millington Pastures in the Yorkshire Wolds, England. Processed to mono and split toned in LR.
Wandering around the woods I spotted a number of bird houses high up in the Birches. Took a while to find number 3, but it had to be done

A stand of mixed trees on the far side of Loch Beinn a' Mheadhoin in Glen Affric in the Scottish Highlands. Converted to monochrome from Raw and split toned in Capture One Pro 22.
It was a bright day, but the stiff wind was bitterly cold as I held on to the tripod set up on the edge of the harbour wall. I used the ND1000 with a step up ring, but wanted to capture some smooth wave action, so had to increase the ISO and open the aperture more that usual to get the right shutter speed.
