It's still night time before the morning twilight begins. Set up in front of the Hotel National de Cuba and hoping to catch classic cars under the street lights. There were a lot of deletes in this process, but this one worked and made getting up in the wee hours worth it. Havana, Cuba, March 2019

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. Timing was key for this shot and I think I managed that part okay. Processed with orange and teal split tone cinematic effect in Lightroom and pushed the teal a little hard for the effect that I wanted. A little experimental in the processing but I do love the result in this. The colour of the candyfloss was my inspiration to do that. Enjoy!

Candid eye contact street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. I loved the beanie at a jaunty angle with a waft of hair blowing out of the side. Given a very light cinematic 'orange & teal' split tone processing in Lightroom with a little warming of the final image. Enjoy!
Quietly he laughs and shaking his head
Creeps closer now
Closer to the foot of the bed
And softer than shadow
And quicker than flies
His arms are all around me and his tongue in my eyes
"Be still be calm be quiet now my precious boy
Don't struggle like that or I will only love you more
For it's much too late to get away or turn on the light
The spiderman is having you for dinner tonight"

St. George's is known as 'the Cathedral of Romney Marsh' due to its unusually large size. The body of the church dates from around 1360 with the Perpendicular-style tower and west end being added about 100 years later. There are some remains/ reminders of an Early English church at the east end and the first Rector is recorded as taking up his post in 1242. The building is mainly constructed of Kentish ragstone but some Caen stone and wave-rolled flints can be found.

Number 314 of my 365 photo challenge - A split-toned, macro image of a pair of mushrooms growing in the grass on a very dark and wet day in Perthshire, Scotland.
Beech woodland on top of Dolbury Hill, described as the site of an extinct volcano and an Iron Age hill fort. Legend has it a dragon flies between here and nearby Cadbury Hill, guarding the treasure.
I thought a monochrome treatment best suited the sense of myth and legend.

The view out the sunroof of my car as noticed by my daughter, sending me flying back into the house for the camera. Split tone colors remind me of Nyah (be sure to wish her a happy 27th!).

An excellent morning on Mam Tor, early October 2015. Different edit, with some blue and yellow split tones. Taken with big stopper.
First time using split tone, and I am blown away with how you can completely change the feel of a photo. So thankful for this challenge and for teaching me new techniques!
Highlights are in the yellow/pink color range and shadows are in the deep blue/purple range
Apparently there are currently up to 80 sheep grazing at Samphire Hoe. I don't recall there being any on previous visits.

The Eurofighter Typhoon on a low level fly-by at the Scottish International Airshow in Ayr, Scotland. I opted for an non-standard widescreen crop and some cinematic split tone processing for this shot. For me it almost looks like a mid-air shot and I simply love the heat haze from the jet exhaust. My 'Top Gun' shot for the airshow, enjoy!

Was doing some jump shots this afternoon - with off-camera flash. Unfortunately my flash batteries died after two shots so I had to improvise with the treatment here...
I haven't been able to shoot for a couple of weeks now, so here is another image from last month given a different look.
