Sometimes you need to immerse yourself in the landscape, in nature and let it surround you in peace and tranquility. An early morning walk in the misty hillside landscape, the silence, calming and immersive ability of nature to remove the negativity. The ability to leave the peace and soulful contemplation with a clear mind free of the immediacy of problems. #Scotland #Landscape #Misty

Typical spring here, the weather is all over the place. Life seems that way at times too. In both cases we go with it and work with what we have. A lot of the time we can be impressed with the unforeeen results.

A companion to my previous image of Kill Abbey. This is an unidentified ruin, part of the abbey but set away from the main structure.
I don't often use split-tone and almost never with colour. But, I wanted to experiment with a colour take on Film Noir and this is my first adventure.
