From this country church you can see cows, coyotes, horses, skydivers and much more at various times of the day and night, as well as the regular church-goers.

I live near Canal Lachiine. Sometimes we go to the end of it. Mighty river on one side, on the other VIlle de Lachine. I prefer the landscape without foleage. It carries a kind of melancholic feeling that I tried to underline with using some split toning in Darktable.

Taken with Schneider Kreuznach SL Xenon 50mm f1.8.

I'm working on a personal project at the moment to use creative motion blur in my photography, and I think this is the first photo I've shared from that. I've got a few more in the pipeline, and it'll hopefully be something I get better at over time. I know I'm not the first person to try this, but I'm hoping I can bring my own style to it.

Number 282 of my 365 photo challenge - A split-toned, macro image of a group of wild mushrooms against some forest bokeh.

Taken one lovely misty morning at the start of Autumn last year. Shot with the Nikon 180mm f2.8D lens @ f5.6 to compress everything down. Single RAW file processed in Lightroom 5 in about two minutes using one of my presets.

Split toned version of a similar colour shot of the decaying remains of the MV Dayspring (originally named the 'Golden Harvest'), lying on the Loch Eil shoreline at Corpach (roughly translated 'Field of Corpses'). It would have been good to compose the shot with the imposing peaks of Ben Nevis in the background (left of frame here), but unfortunately, low cloud obscured the summit for all but a couple of hours all week when we were visiting the area. The old fishing vessel apparently ran aground here in 2011 following a storm that broke its original moorings from a pier at Kinlochleven. The seagull at top left out of luck for this old boat. Processed using Capture One Pro 21.
