What do you think? I just downloaded a program to make these diptychs. It's something new for me.
The program I used is Dipstych.
My black Swarovski Crystals finally came and I tryed a new style of bead...Usually I dont like big beads cuz I think they are annoying and I also dont like silver seed beads cuz the color dissapears after some time but this time I made an exception cuz I wanted to try something new :D
Actualy I at first wanted to make a necklace but the chain I wanted to use didnt look good with the beads ... thats why again...It´s a bracelet >..<
The Bracelets size is bigger than usual thats why I cant wear it ... Too big for my thin arms Q___Q
But oh well It fits my Mom :D !
hope shes gonna wear it ^___^
I'm trying new things. I usually can't stand selective coloring/adding a border to my photos/multiple shots combined together. HOWEVER, here recently I've seen a lot of photos that use these techniques in ways that I really liked, so, I though I might as well branch out and give it shot.
Adventure in Seeing #23
All over the city of Lausanne, where I live, there are decorated metal boxes/cupboards containing electrical wiring.
I wanted to know what the letters COFOP represented, so I decided to find out!
These letters stand for a professional training centre and the students, with the guidance and help of their art teacher and a Lausanne artist, have set out to decorate the 600 metal boxes! I think it's a wonderful idea to embellish the urban landscape.
This particular decoration is in my own neighbourhood and is one of my favourites. I especially love the play on the name of the city: Lausanne becomes Lausangeles!

OH MY GOD! This was so amazingly GOOD! At first i thought the idea was disgusting and poor cute kangaroos. But kim convinced me to try something new and we ordered the kangaroo (you can see what we ordered on the previous picture)(needless to say by the sign it was a french resteraunt). Oh and first let me say the french make the best french fries. MMMMMMM. The yellow stuff is curry mashed potatos and the pink stuff is sweet onion marmalade and some mago salsa. The kangaroo isa darker red meat and the taste is GREAT! I cant describe the taste other then really good. Yesterday I went to the local fancy grocery store and asked the butcher if he could order a meat for me, he said sure and asked me what kind and i told him kangaroo. He gave me the strangest look ever. At first he thought i was joking but he became interested after describing it to em. He said he had been doing this for 18 years and I was the first to ask him that ever! People are missing out!. This was in Marigot, St Martin. The french side of the island.
I challenge myself with trying new ways to enjoy this craft. Fireworks are fun to shoot and not as easy as I had hoped it would be. I'm not so old that I can't learn

they are so long!. So instead of making a pony tail, I've pulled them half through and then folded them over. It looks way cooler than the picture.
There's a lady around town who has amazing dreads, she does this, and more! Quite the work of art! Do you think I should approach her " I love your dreads....I got this dog....." LOL
Usually I hate still-lives, but here's one of my old Voigtlander and my present of myself to myself on mother's day...
I had written that for my blog but it refuses to open today so here goes:
I thought for my first mother's day I would be made much of, pampered, breakfast in bed and little surprises...
What really happened was that Fred didn't get up before about one, while I was awake at 9 to feed the baby, he had forgotten all about this, I reminded him about him later in the day, but he thought as long as the kid was too small to give me a macaroni necklace or a play-doh ashtray, I was not to expect anything of this day. So it got totally ignored, and I feel very bitter that I was gullible enough to expect anything. My very first mother's day... ah well....
The start of something new for me. Having arrived at a new location i found i couldn't see over the fence. I wired my Nikon camera to my smart phone and with the aid of a monopod ....balanced it on the top of the fence. I was able to see the train approaching via the screen of my phone and able to fire the camera at the correct time from an APP on the phone.

The lovely Orient Bambino 38 in salmon. If you don't know Orient, and like watches, look them up. A Japanese brand, now owned by Seiko Epson, known for affordable and quality automatic watches that use their in-house movement.
Trying something new while nude drawing class at university. Made this two drawings with a manual print technique.
My first ever photo on my new GoPro waterproof camera. As it gets warmer (or when I get back to Hawaii) I'll do further underwater photography but this "foam on the sand" shot will have to do while it's Winter!

LA MULA SANTA
(Berlin / Chile /Armenia / Spain / Malta / Australia)
(Berliner Cumbia Götter)
The First Chilean Cumbia Band from Berlin
From Tierra del Fuego at the extreme southern of South America until the United States, from the Andes to the Atlantic coast, the Colombian Cumbia is popular, while in Europe it is still an amazingly well kept secret. Located on the Caribbean coast of Colombia, this music has been not only in Latin America but also international success. The Band identity comes not only from the infectious beat of the Cumbia, but also of different Latin-American rhythms like Merengue, Salsa, Bomba, Guajira, Reggaeton and Latin Rock.

Well, I'm back on the road again and somewhere in northern Georgia. This is the first actual new photo I've posted on flickr so far. I just joined 2 months ago, and so far all the crap I've uploaded was taken anywhere from 3 months ago to 17 years ago. I took this one yesterday. Lots more to come. So far waterfalls are about all I've shot in Tennessee and Georgia. There's lots of pretty ones here. I know I've done waterfalls to death, I just can't resist shooting a pretty waterfall.
