Discussions before the beginning of the ZURBSoapbox.
The ZURB Soapbox lecture series is a new venture ZURB is embarking on where we invite entrepreneurs, designers, managers, movers, shakers and friends of ZURB to speak to a like-minded audience and spar with them afterward.
ZURB is a close-knit team of interaction designers and strategists that help companies design better (www.zurb.com).
Much to the dismay of neighbours, this Edmonton Resident clearly has a lot to say. On close inspection however, it's difficult to specificially zero in on a specific issue of concern!

Design for Patrick's Soapbox, my blog.
Wow, v5 lasted 4 months. I'm actually quite amazed - with only a few minor tweaks to templates (mainly for validation) at that.
However this brings about v5.1, for which the header got all the love. The site name/navigate links background is made transparent in browser, so browsers that don't understand opacity in CSS might render that with a solid white background. IEv6 get's a filter, so I'm not totally hating on it. Although I really need to do some tweaks for a couple of minor rendering bugs (which oddly don't occur in IE on my phone. shrug. Which is my only device running "windows" right now).
didn't think this soapbox car would make it through the race... but it amazingly did. from first impressions it didn't look that steady, but it was revealed at the finish line that there was someone inside the damn thing in addition to the person behind it. no idea how he managed to steer the thing...
