I am going to be visiting the Oregon tulip fields very soon, so I thought I would give a steak preview of sorts.
These were captured in my backyard. The fields I am going to in a few days, have 40+ acres of them! :-) Stay tuned ...
Upcoming Exhibit at Petite Industrial Gallery. Landmark to follow in the morning.
The focus of the exhibit is peaceful scenes and about Peace. During these trying times I figured it was a good theme to portray for such an amazing gallery.
The scene was created at the beautiful sim of ✈️ : Frogmore

Just a sneak preview of my next build! I got some extra parts at BFNE, so those will contribute to the effort ;)
We present to you all a little sneak preview of our new sim, Bamboo, which we will be opening to the public at 12am SLT on Friday, March 18.
Jin and I have been lazily working on this space for roughly over 3 years now. What started off as daydreams on a small homestead slowly grew to a full sim. Needless to say, it has become quite a sentimental project for us both, as it reflects our story over the years and our history. It has really been a nostalgic ride, creating scenes as we reminisced on our childhood experiences and memories of our travels back to the east.
Ever since we first met, we've always shared a common passion for our eastern heritage and cultures. Hence why it has been nice to see this appreciation grow over the years within the SL community. We've really enjoyed adding new little details as they've popped up over time and we look forward to even more diversification and growth of Asian themes and representation in this metaverse.
It's quite a vulnerable feeling to open up this particular sim to the public because it has been such an intimate part of our SL story. But as we prepare to close a chapter to move on to the next, what better way to celebrate than to share with others? So on that note, we sincerely welcome everyone to our home and we hope that you all will enjoy the experience as much as we have enjoyed creating it.

and a sneak preview to my collection of Propliners scanned a while ago.
In April 1978, I made my one and only visit to the small airfield at Shoreham on the south coast of England. Somehow I had heard a rumour via the African drums that a pair of twin Otters would be passing through on their way to China! I believe it was my old aviation schoolfriend mark_woollett whose family lived at Shoreham who gave me the tip-off :)
Anyway, I was delighted when I arrived to see the pair sunning themselves on the ramp. Here we see G-GNOE which became B-3501 with CAAC - and a glimpse of C-GNOF which became B-3502. I believe both aircraft might still be flying somewhere in the world?

A small section, of a medium sized section, of what will eventually be a balls-to-the-wall behemoth. All I'll say is it is a battle on the Western Front, taking place somewhere between 1916 and 1918, and will involve green farmland, a few small structures, as well as decimated cratered landscape. I'll be working on this in chunks from now until next year's Brickfair Virginia, and I'll post little bits of it as I go. At the sime time, you can expect roughly one plane a month.

The recent upgrades to your trailer have gone viral on social media and you are blissfully unaware, except for the increase in visitors, whom you are happy to host. Thankfully, your tea is an acquired taste, so they don't stay long...
