This shot quite surprised me! It is actually water flowing over a smooth rock plate (the white bit!) into a sandy bottom pool (the brown bit!) with a 30 sec exposure

It's wonderful to see the return of the Smooth-billed Ani (Crotophaga ani) to the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge. This primarily Caribbean and South American bird only reaches the United States in southern Florida. The South Florida population of this bird is believed to be declining rapidly, but it remains common in the tropics. They feed primarily on insects and small reptiles and amphibians; and occasionally fruit.

This plant may be far rarer than I list it, ie on the national scale? Does anybody know more.

A few pictures from my dive trip over Thanksgiving 2007 to Cozumel, Mexico. I'm a little disappointed in how the pictures turned out. It was a little difficult to adjust the manual settings of my camera during the drift dives with moderately strong currents.
