Skywatcher 250pds on EHQ6 mount and QHY 132E Camera plus televue x2 Barlow. This is a 1025 frame video stacked in Registax and Wavelets tweaked plus adjusted further in Photoshop.
Towards the bottom of the shot you can see Vallis Alpes. Interesting to note that the outer walls are about 1kilometer in hight and you can just make out a Rille running down the centre which is about .5 kilometre wide. Vallis Alpes is called a Graben.
Known as the 'Straight Wall', this requires a telescope to be seen properly. It looks remarkable and it soon becomes evident why its called the Straight Wall - it's incredibly straight.
Formally known as Rupers Recta, this is a linear fault, a region of the Moon's surface where one part has dropped relative to the other. At certain illuminations Rupes Recta shows as a striking dark line, indicating that the shadow is being cast. Other illuminations show it as a bright line - the difference is caused because it's actually a slope rather than a cliff edge.

Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer mount + Sky-Watcher Evostar 72ED (72/420mm) + Sky-Watcher generic flattener + Canon 80D (120s, ISO800).
Pre-processed using bias, darks and flats (Siril). Stacked 98 frames (Siril). Initial post-processing in Siril, sent through starfixer and final touches in RawTherapee. Annotation done with astrometry.net and Gimp
