Locked to lick, the poison on tongue is an ancient breed. Nothing more than plain paper, the pharmacist would lick or glue the label onto the medication bottle the old fashioned way. Stickers? There are no stickers back when everybody wore suspenders.

one of my professors likes to refer to cities as palimpsests: places with many layers of history, where the recent ones can never completely cover the old.
this window reflects the ethnically and economically diverse inner-city neighborhood of st. pauli. a collection of references to music, soccer, construction, gentrification, immigration, unemployment. behind this window used to be a bar, where late one night in 1994, at a birthday party for a friend, news spread that kurt cobain had killed himself. today the place is the headquarters of bitzcore, an indie record label.
