This is the most beautiful serving tray - especially when it's polished. I really should do something about that.
My attempt at an artsy shot of the stefana (crowns), koufeta (Jordan almonds), rings, and silver tray before they were used in my own Greek Orthodox wedding.
Most everyone tells me that their favorite cookie is chocolate chip and most of those people tell me that they like them best warm from the oven. So I made chipless cookies and a ganache for dipping.
So this is the space between the guest bed and the closet of the room. When my mother comes to visit I move the table a bit but she has to negotiate around the "tess". She's a real sport.
No regrets for a vintage blue glass-top coffee table. As for the aluminum stars, they may have been for Christmas once but too pretty not to be out all year long. Besides, the previous owner had them bundled up so nice and neat with string, hate to disturb them. Digital photo. Photoshop. (2009)
This picture is part of the Photography for Change Project in Exeter, which was 10-week participatory photography programme that enabled participants to create their own photo-story or photographic theme and build a portfolio of images that reflect the positive aspects of their lives.
This project used photography as a means of engagement and empowerment and was managed by Meridian Raw CIC and part funded by the Big Lottery Fund

All smaller handcut atomic dish tiles were added to this tray. It's kinda cool looking. LOVE these tiles!!
Dark grout for this one, I think. While the glue dries I'll decide.
