I like to try my hand at the retro edition of some pictures, but on the other hand this leads to destroying fine textures obtained with a fine lens.
Therefore, although I want to post the retro edit of this picture, I can't find it in my heart to abdicate from posting the BW version.
The ADOX Silvermax film has a very wide dynamic range, wherefore I did two scans of the same negative, one for the shadows and the other for the highlights. The final file was obtained with a HDR combination of both scans.
Your comments will be much appreciated
(*) The Japanese poet Basho wrote a haiku, which sounds at first contradictory but is is actually of great insight. For those who can appreciate the beauty of the Japanese original:
霧しぐれ富士を見ぬ日ぞおもしろき
and the translation into English by Lucien Stryk:
How pleasant
just once not to see
Fuji through mist
The idea is (I think) that although the Mount Fuji offers a sight of great beauty, its presence is so imposing, so overpowering, that its removal from sight by the mist produces a surprisingly pleasant sight.
In this photo, somehow, I see a clear day in spite of the heavily clouded sky, as if the clouds gave depth to the landscape and made it even wider than it is. Hence "On a Clear Day".
This view is amazing, even if photographically not very interesting. Maybe a large format camera could grab all the fine details and produce an interesting image, but this is beyond the capability of a small format camera. We are at about 1500 mts and the valley bellow is at 400 - 600 mts. Roughly 1 kilometre vertical below us. Quite a view.

The same stairway as the one previously posted under Stairway (1), taken at night with a 50 mm lens:

Although the 24 mm is, for its natural look in spite of the wide angle, one of my favourite lenses , when it comes to exaggerated perspectives, I very much like the look the 21 mm provides.

I saw this scary gang of Pelicans hogging these seats at St. James Park. People were getting photos.
One time a few years ago at the lake down the road from where I live a big scary Pelican came & took over. He scared my Duck friends away with his mean grunting sounds.

I found the backyards In the new housing area of the Rodrigo neighbourhood quite funny, since the mess does not agree in the least with the neat front view. Real people are living here, that's the feel that came across to me.

The Rodrigo workers' neighbourhood expanded to the vicinity of the elementary school, where semi-detached houses are organised in nice parallel streets. They look much nicer than those in the old neighbourhood, and even if some need a paint job, the reflect the improvement in the life conditions of the wool industry workers.
