Thankfully Summer couldn't get the shape wrong on this. Very easily recognisable as a Porsche 944 Turbo even if it is crudely cast and made. Part of a 25 vehicle set bought in the early 1990's. Mint and boxed.

My picture meets the project goals by using shape in a couple different ways. The most noticable is the unique shape of the fan blades. The other is in the gard behind the blades. The circular steal bars of the gard create a radial shape. To take this picture, i took the front gard off of a steel fan and placed a lamp to the left of it. When editing the photo, I decided to make it black and white. The one thing i would change is the shadow in the top left corner.

Clara Shape

Clara has a bangin bod, but her face! Oh my! She makes up for it by having a high IQ with great fashion sense. She strives to be a SL fashion designer or a NASA engineer.

See what you can do with the Clara shape....

Being in a Blue Funk from a creative perspective means that I'll take just about anything and any idea that comes my way. And when in Spain, Barcelona to be more specific, what's there not to like about "found objects" and their shapes under the Mediterranean sun? I realize that everyone and their dog has taken images of these very same things, yet I found myself moved by the Pictorialists and hoped to try my hand at it all.

For some reason I really struggled with this week's challenge! Since I'm in Easter card making "mode" I finally decided to go with an Easter basket (I know, not exactly very original!).

I used a Cricut machine (Doodlecharms cartridge) to die cut the basket and eggs. Using a flower from the CL228 Asian Elements set and nail jewels I "decorated" the eggs. The bunny was cut from F2894 Bunny Basket and the sentiment is Studio g. The lace "trim" is a MS punch.

TFL!

[in-universe explanation] The Spazzbucket brothers wanted in on those sweet, sweet military contracts from the New Republic after the fall of the Empire, so they slapped a couple of pop-guns on their best-selling single-seat sporty runabout and called it a starfighter. Little did they understand that the New Republic was actually divesting itself of most of its military, and they were getting into the arms business at the worst possible time. Only a dozen examples of the starfighter variant were sold before they cut their losses and returned to selling it on the personal-transportation market.

[out-of-universe explanation] To keep my brother and I occupied one boring Sunday church meeting, my dad doodled a "W-wing fighter" on a piece of paper. When we got home, my brother and I both tried to build it out of our Lego bricks. This is my latest W-wing, built from the ground up in late 2021 to match my brother's oldest version in shape and size. I didn't have the parts to build it in a snappy red, yellow, and black color scheme like that childhood build. I have not previously posted pictures of this model on Flickr, though if you look through my Flickr photostream you'll see a Studio model of an earlier iteration - I checked with @MKJoshA to make sure that this build is eligible. Sorry, I don't know how to take nice photos and edit them with in-universe backgrounds. You'll notice there aren't any visible weapons on this W-wing fighter ... I never could figure out where the guns were supposed to be on the darn thing, it always seemed a lot more like a sports car to me. Hence the in-universe explanation. Good luck to everybody on the contest, and may the best Alphabet Fighter win!

Pale Saints

Tell what you're thinking of

And what is on your mind

I'm sorry for the way I made you feel

And when you've made your mind up

Come and tell me I was wrong

And I'll say the words I know you want to hear

Do I need you?

I can't say

Coloured shapes get in my way

And I can't decide if we were meant to be

Tell what you're dreaming of
