Appears to have been registered as a civilian vehicle new in May 1970.

Fitted with a 2500cc diesel engine.

I don't know if the NBC decided to take Southdown's attractive fleet of forty-seven Park Royal off them and send them elsewhere or whether it was party their doing. But it was a pity as buses like Park Royal bodied No.730 seen in Brighton despite the NBC leaf-green had helped keep the BET flavour alive here on the South Coast..
