Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar bats 29 June 2007 against South Africa during the second of three One Day International matches at Stormont cricket grounds in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Tendulkar became the first man in cricket history to score 15,000 one-day international runs when he reached fifty. The 34-year-old reached the landmark in his 387th match at this level with a 79th fifty, off 64 balls with one six and nine fours, having made his one-day international debut in 1989 as a 16-year-old against Pakistan at Gujranwala..
