Mainly Silver Shadows and after a bit of shuffling got lined up in front of the beautiful house.
The doors and bonnets were shut, owners treated to champagne and stood behind the cars and then onlookers standing in the way were quietly moved along for the grand photo to mark the occasion. One chap in the entrance to the house waving his straw hat.
They was an International feel about it as a few cars from Germany and at least one from Switzerland .
Even the famous fallow deer were looking over at the proceedings at one point from a high viewpoint in front of the house.
There were even more cars at Brooklands the day before and they were lined nicely for another symbolic photo shoot there.

The Boeing bus
In a Shamrock world, dominated by Airbus, four Boeing 757's operated by ASL for Aer Lingus & the above one was extra special, EI-CJX with its unique Rolls Royce engines, seen above in July 2016.
CJX was the rebel of the four, having Rolls Royce engines, unlike the Pratt & Whitney's of EI-LBR, LBT & LBS & based in Shannon because of the higher fuel burn across the pond.
The last Boeing 757 in Aer Lingus colours, EI-CJX, operated by ASL bowed out of service in March 2020.
Previously a four strong fleet, reduced to just one with the arrival of new Aer Lingus A321LR's, EI-CJX St Boice was transfered from Shannon to Dublin & usually operated daily either to Chicago or Minneapolis.
Due to depart the fleet in May 2020, its demise was brought forward due to the Covid-19 virus & cancellation of flights between Dublin & the US.

It was a surprise to see this one.
About as long as two Victorian houses! I don't relish trying to find a roadside parking space for one of these.

Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II pour le tournage de "A view to a kill"
Part of the scene outside The Wardrobe in The Close at Salisbury Cathedral. There were a further two, older, Rolls-Royces off to the left that I couldn't fit in the frame sensibly.
The cars were belonged to a group from the Rolls-Royce Owners' Club, who were having a meeting at another building in The Close which had no parking space.
Having had a quick look through Wikipedia pages, I think the cars are, from left, two Corniches, a Bentley Arnage, a Silver Spur II and a Silver Shadow. However, I would be the first to admit to a very limited knowledge about car models in general, let alone these expensive flagship vehicles, so I would be very happy to be guided if I've got them wrong!
What sort of change would you get from £1 million after buying this lot?
