This place has always fascinated me.
I recall driving by this place, late at night, when I was first discovering Long Beach. I was lost and driving around town with the top down to my convertible VW Bug. This place must have been in operation back then, because I recall this loud, haunting clanging going on, like the sound of chains and metal.
Since then, I've had to walk by this place late at night, after having had car trouble. I still recall that sound and that fear. But, I'd still kill to go in and explore this place.

I believe this Bolliger & Mabillard machine is not only an excellent fun rollercoaster, but a gorgeous black & green kinetic sculpture.
