We played with the tracking, looked at it upside down, move to uppercase lower case and back to uppercase, until we had something that was discrete and effective, as well as recognisable. We changed the pantone colours slightly with something that works a little better and took away the sharpness from the corners.

the yet so called "Nugget of Wisdom" dresses, because I didn´t like the pocket-solution anymore. Now they have little ribbons, a bow and also a tiny pendant to give them a special touch. I like them much better after that :) And I also changed the name, it´s "Lupine" now - I really like lupines and flower names for dresses...
A few of the shots taken the other night at the Revamped Fashion Show at As You Like It in Jesmond.
All outfits had been adapted by Newcastle College fashion and textiles students from pieces found in Salvation Army shops, with pieces on sale on the night and all proceeds going to the salvation army.

I recently revamped my Etsy shop into an online bead store, now called Moontree Mercantile. I’d like to think I’m fairly discerning when it comes to the beads I purchase for my collection. I try to pick things which are reasonably priced but carry a lot of impact, and I’ve been pretty resourceful over the years so I have a lot of interesting things which I can offer for a good deal.
What was really fun and challenging about this was the photography aspect- I drew a series of illustrations to serve as borders and backdrops for my beads, and I think it's a nice way to incorporate the artistic aspect of what I do into the new bead shop.
I'm also offering a free print of my illustration work with ever purchase over $20, so there you go. Check out my website at www.moontreestudios.com for a link to my online shop.
Some of the things I'm offering:
*My own handmade Artisan Paper Beads
*Tumbled vintage "Sea" Glass in interesting colors, patterns, and shapes
* Vintage and unusual Czech pressed Glass
* Fancy iridescent Bohemian Glass Buttons
* Furnace glass beads
* Lampwork glass sets
* Acrylic & vintage lucite beads
And soon: metallic beads, vintage buttons, gemstones, pearls, and other art & craft supplies.
