I’m happy to say I’m satisfied with this new version especially compared to the previous one.

Meanwhile in MrBoltTron's lightbox:

Pohatu: " Hey Kopaka! Nice to meet ya! How's the day?" :)

Kopaka: " Ugh. First a headeche and now you!? Leave me alone." -_-

Pohatu: " Say what's that drink anyways?"

Kopaka: " It's none of your business."

P.S. I have swapped those 5-armor parts and added a necklace for Kopaka. The necklace of Kopaka's is an instrument:3

I chose to revamp the set 6067 Guarded Inn, originally released in 1986.

Inside view of the door, proof that I am insane.

Behold the Dali moustache!

The first two casts of the new duke are out!

Izotor is a veritable fortress of frosty steel and enchanted ice. Though he doesn't say much, his loyalty to his people is unquestionable. If he could, he would bear every injury they receive in battle upon his own armored body.

In my headcanon, Izotor is actually female (perfect gender ratios and all that). But when I started this MOC, that torso and shoulder design just built itself and I went from there. The lower arms were a little tricky to design and took a few versions to get something stable enough to wield his heavy shield and warhammer.

Another Slizer revamp, this time it is Ice Slizer. I deviated a fair bit this time from the original set's vision by making the head and arms resemble a praying mantis. And although I may have changed much, I believe the changes make him contrast really well with his Fire Slizer counterpart.

This is a creation I’ve been working on for quite some time, ever since the Ziontyro released these glorious custom Kraahkan Kanohi. Almost an entire year in the making!

8593 Makuta has always been a set that was near and dear to my heart, though a figure that was very quickly superseded by larger titan builds. With this revamp, my objective was to restore some of the lost height and articulation, so he can stand tall against the other titans of the BIONICLE line.

The legs in particular draw inspiration from the design of @ibukkey00 while much of the upper body design was created by @fnezj, who gave me many helpful tips during the build process.

A complete overhaul of an older ship that deserved a post

Xplode was my first HF villain set, and I’ve been wanting to do a revamp of him for quite a while. So once I finished Thonk, I decided to try tackling something a bit smaller, more simple. A nice change of pace.

So of course I almost doubled the amount of spikes and gave him a giant spiky buster sword.

I had considered using a more tame and faithful alternative for his mace-ax-club-sword-thingamajig but I felt like he called for something heavier. Plus I had ordered three extra blade pieces that I didn’t want laying around.

Another change was the beefiness of it all. I kinda liked the idea that Xplode had upgraded himself to take a few more hits. Since the Heroes had gotten more and more powerful, it only made sense that Xplode - one of the best at the whole “Criminal for hire” gig, would have made himself more endurant and powerful to stay competitive.

I did leave his meteor blaster alone, because I feel like that’s the sort of weapon he’d like to be quick and maneuverable. Something you can be quick on the draw with, rather than have a giant cannon to lug around.

Overall this MOC certainly isn’t my best, but it was never meant to be. It’s just a fun little dive back into my childhood, and into some simpler techniques and styles. It was nostalgic, while also refreshing. I’ll definitely be doing more MOC’s like this in the future.

Thank you for checking out my stuff! And have a great day!

When i first saw the breakout series of Rocka, I though "gee, this guy is put together with loads of random bits! I can do better than that!"

So I did. (imo)

This is parts of the revamp that I have done. I make the rear actually flush this time and did some stability mods to the front.

And just like that, the toa mata series is done. When building Tahu, I wanted him to be like a culmination of all the things I learned along the way while building the other toa, considering things like proportion, color blocking, articulation, greebling, creative parts usage, and callbacks to the original set.

These two criminals roam together wreaking havoc everywhere they go, Xplode is the brains with brawn, while Rotor is the brawn with... no brain.

Thank Bruh_0nicles for the propeller design.

I actually revamped him several months ago, but never took pictures of him. I made Nitron much more bulky, and gave him plasma thrusters on his back for extra effect.

For this revamp of Pohatu, I wanted to emphasize his speed and his strength, so I made various parts of his intervals and externals be light grey, like a character with cyborg augmentations.

I was going to say it's been a while since I've done a proper revamp... but I just finished the PoE. So here's another one.

This idea has been long in the making. It all started with an old (and terrible) sketch of mine, combining the look of Metru and Hordika Whenua (since that was the only Hordika I still have most of the parts to) in an attempt to make him look more mutated. I recently came to the realization that the new Bionicle 2015 armor also follows a lot of the same aesthetic of the Hordika foot and the Metru foot, so I decided to give it a go. I also borrowed a bit from Darkraimaster and The-HT-Wacom-Man from DA.

Some interesting parts to note include the opening jaw, the fully posable shoulders (the upper torso is a mess of HF joints), the posable waist, and the working spinner. Although the legs are simple (I got lazy...), I like how they turned out.

Tahu surfing on lava (or rather lack of it). Hau is replaced with Hydraxon mask.

My entry to BBC 69.

The legendary Seventh Toa has arrived, in glorious revamped form. Hope you like him as much as I enjoyed building him!

I'm really happy with how he came out, especially the painted chestpiece. I used Citadel Paints, with one layer of Liberator Gold over a base of Abaddon Black. I tried two coats of gold, but then it looked too yellow compared to the original gold parts. Would definitely recommend these paints for anyone interested in modifying their Bonk parts (even if it *is* illegal).

Now I've just got to think of the next project...
