Exile of the Fire Tribe, warrior of the Wastelands, Champion of the Vorox.
A powerful original set with some bold design choices. I’ve always loved the muscle texture on Malum but the height scaling and shoulder pads have always been awkward for me. I tried to correct these while keeping his best features.
Want to see more of Malum? Feel free to check out Way of the Lawless, a chapter book story I wrote over lockdown about his exploits in the Wastelands of Bara Magna!
Legendary Toa of Fire, Lhikan was Metru Nui's sole guardian. In the past, Lhikan led a team of toa against the fearsome Kanohi Dragon, and later, the Dark Hunters. Despite countless betrayals, Lhikan continued to protect the Matoran. He sacrificed his power to create 6 new toa, the Toa Metru, becoming a Turaga himself.
Alternative shots of the Moc. Unlike the set version, he can hold his swords like he does in the movie.
More to come!
Elite Skrall warrior equipped with a Thorned Club, Thornax Launcher and heavy armor. One of the most dynamic of the Glatorian builds and a standout from his wave. I took lengths to add more spikes and emphasize the muscles. Also got to fill in some gaps in his chest and strengthen some of my favorite features.
I'm getting back into Bionicle since it's returning soon, so this is what I've been working on for the past week or two.
A few things to note about this:
- I realise the upper arms are rather basic, this was because I wanted a decent amount of possibility near the wings for the arms. I might have been able to get around this but I didn't really focus much on that part as they aren't very visible (especially from behind because of the wings).
- The cordak blaster being a bow serves little practical purpose, it's for style more than anything.
I probably need some practise if I'm going to get into Bionicle MOCing, so expect a lot more in the future. They should get better over time.
Here's Gali for day 5 (use to be day 4) for the 9 Day Revamp To Christmas.

Xplode was my first HF villain set, and I’ve been wanting to do a revamp of him for quite a while. So once I finished Thonk, I decided to try tackling something a bit smaller, more simple. A nice change of pace.
So of course I almost doubled the amount of spikes and gave him a giant spiky buster sword.
I had considered using a more tame and faithful alternative for his mace-ax-club-sword-thingamajig but I felt like he called for something heavier. Plus I had ordered three extra blade pieces that I didn’t want laying around.
Another change was the beefiness of it all. I kinda liked the idea that Xplode had upgraded himself to take a few more hits. Since the Heroes had gotten more and more powerful, it only made sense that Xplode - one of the best at the whole “Criminal for hire” gig, would have made himself more endurant and powerful to stay competitive.
I did leave his meteor blaster alone, because I feel like that’s the sort of weapon he’d like to be quick and maneuverable. Something you can be quick on the draw with, rather than have a giant cannon to lug around.
Overall this MOC certainly isn’t my best, but it was never meant to be. It’s just a fun little dive back into my childhood, and into some simpler techniques and styles. It was nostalgic, while also refreshing. I’ll definitely be doing more MOC’s like this in the future.
Thank you for checking out my stuff! And have a great day!

That end table was a curb side beauty!
Check out my blog for how I revamped it.

While I could have easily made this more proportionate to a human, I thought that not giving a damn and staying true to the original would be a refreshing change for me.
I have a lot of other projects to get to, but I wanted to get this posted for the BZPower Flickr Contest. Admittedly, Vizuna got a bit of extra love in the details. I can't deny she's my favorite Protector.
Vizuna was a bit of a tricky build, especially in the torso to get all those details right. I thought I'd never find a decent chestplate until I saw those wonderful cleaver pieces that looked exactly like how I've drawn her. Vizuna also got a short skirt, her signature bow, and a bag for carrying supplies or messages. A lot of my Vizuna headcanons were inspired by the Bastion Breakers: fast, dependable, and always there in the knick of time with the help of her future-sensing vines on her legs.
My personal revamp of Ekimu. Originally, I tried to get a look similar to how he appears in the Journey to One Netflix series, but I couldn't figure out the shoulder plates, so it turned out like this instead. :P

This is an all new build of the girls' living room :). I had a lot of fun with it and like it much better. The butterfly display (!) was a gift from littlebearries <3.
Is new!
Mainly just showing off my custom painted BF Helmet, in this case Hounds, hence the dog.
Still not sure about the fleshie arms however, Y/N?
The biggest rebuild I've done so far involved my HumVee. I wanted to replace the far too lurid green on it with newer dark green, but since the parts palette in that colour is very limited, this basically meant almost completely rebuilding it (apart from most of the roof). The shape and the functionality of all the bits were kept the same, however.
More pictures of the original are on brickshelf.

The legendary Seventh Toa has arrived, in glorious revamped form. Hope you like him as much as I enjoyed building him!
I'm really happy with how he came out, especially the painted chestpiece. I used Citadel Paints, with one layer of Liberator Gold over a base of Abaddon Black. I tried two coats of gold, but then it looked too yellow compared to the original gold parts. Would definitely recommend these paints for anyone interested in modifying their Bonk parts (even if it *is* illegal).
Now I've just got to think of the next project...

Earlier this year, I decided to recreate the Hero Factory set Jetbug as a mecha.
The hips are based on this concept by jakobekvall, but use 3D-printed parts. The upper torso is based on ReFrame V2 by Messymaru. The legs are also inspired by his work.
Many elements of the design, like the body, the lower legs, or the shoulder shields are inspired by the Gundam Astaroth Origin.
Yes, this is the real one. Yes, she still has dem hips. But really, Korgot is a very close second to my favorite build of this project (after Vizuna). Her... "unique" build (and large purple drill arm) really helps her stand out from the rest.

It is said that all good revamps must have a Toa Metru gearbox crotch…
Here is Kiina in a revamped form. I shortened the upper arms slightly and worked to fill out some of the proportions. Also gave her a spear reminiscent of her Vapor Trident’s original form.
Revamped my recent bee girl to have a more chubby physique, and better fuzz coverage. I feel like the bumblebee theme comes across better now.
