the revolution will not be televised(edition2012)

26 Feb 1954, Minneapolis, MInnesota, USA --- Space Pilots. Minneapolis, Minnesota: A small boy's dream of piloting a rocket ship through outer space came as nearly true as modern science could make it for plastic-helmeted Johnny Bower (left), and Neil Smith, both seven years old. The youngsters got their big break when Minneapolis-Honeywell's Aeronautical company invited them, among other young sons of technical employees to visit the plant and see what their dads were doing. "Pilots" Bower and Smith are manipulating special computing equipment developed to duplicate characteristics of supersonic craft and the flight conditions they might be expected to encounter. --- Image by © Bettmann/CORBIS

"Digital Pulse" is a vibrant exploration of the digital realm's inherent imperfections and surprising beauty. The deliberate use of pixelation and the stark contrast between the electric blue and soft pink create a visual tension, reminiscent of early digital art and the aesthetics of a bygone internet era. This piece is a celebration of the glitch, transforming what might be considered an error into a deliberate artistic choice, reflecting on how technology shapes our perception and the unexpected allure of data corruption. It speaks to the fragmented nature of modern existence and the constant hum of information overload, finding a hypnotic rhythm within the visual noise.

Are you familiar with this artwork series by french contemporary artist Alain Bublex?

Started in the 1990's, the AEROFIAT series depicts prototypes of flying cars made of FIAT 126 enhanced with propellers and reactors!

The artist has both created real life versions of theses, which can be seen in galleries and art centers, or staged them in his pictural works. Take a closer look at his many different iterations of the AEROFIAT on his website : alainbublex.fr/fr/aerofiat

You certainly recognized the original model (Lego Creator 10271), which I simply modified to look like the Aerofiat. The other slight modification I made is a bit of red acrylic paint on the tip of each blade of the propeller (2952).
