June Lake is a small town south of Lee Vining, Mono Lake, and Yosemite's Tiaga Pass entrance in eastern California. You reach it by taking the June Lake Loop road - a very scenic and short drive. It is a beautiful area with good hiking - and I happened to hit it on a beautiful Fall day in October 2008. This is yet another area to return to and spend more time.
