I'm cutting fabric for a few scrappy quilts: 1000 pyramids, trip around the world, postage stamp and one with just 4.5" squares. I've decided to tear biggish rectangles out of each piece of fabric first, and then cut the smaller pieces I'll need. I am hoping it will be more manageable that way.
Today the We’re Here! Group is targeting Round vs Square.
My square is rebelling against conformity by being a rectangle.

Once again, my favorite color! A bright Chartreuse green.
This is a 12mm x 8mm Czech glass rectangle bead. The gorgeous chartreuse color is framed with a Picasso finish along the edges in a mossy green, blue and brown.
Top the coloured squares with 5 equal sized white rectangles. White is the "background" colour of this quilt. Make sure the white fabric is all right side up!
You'll end up with 10 quilt blocks from this stack.
I ironed a crease in the middle of the top square so I could tell easily where the centre is.
