No more reading without my reading glasses .
And that question 'Where are my glasses?' has become one of the most often heard ones in this house!
Is there anyone out there who shares this experience? 😂
HSoS to all participants 💙💙💙

That quiet glow, where candlelight leans into shadow, that shared silence: it's a kind of magic that needs no embellishment, except for my reading glasses. 👓

Words of love for Looking Close on Friday
What better words than those of Molly Bloom as we celebrate the centenary of the publication of Ulysses
I've been keeping a diary for as long as I can remember.
When I was little, the little joys and worries were written into it and when I was big the joys and worries got bigger too.
But the book always had an ear for me and that was often comforting.
I sometimes look into old diaries and remember many things and people in my life, that I had already forgotten.
HSoS !!!
Reading Glasses
For Macro Monday - Eyewear
I need reading glasses these days but my distance sight is good so I have opted for multi-focal glasses. They help when looking for insects in the garden too.
The width of the one frame is 55 mm.
Happy Macro Monday!
Since I am home most of the time now, I am looking for things around the house to shoot. These are my reading glasses.
One of my guilty pleasures is to travel virtually on my computer. There are several apps where you can discover new places and even stand in the middle of a street and visit them virtually. 🌎
On/Off - Thank you so much for visiting my photos! I'd appreciate your comment, as this will make it easier for me to catch up with you!

Young Brian is so excited to be back at school. His favourite subject is (of course) biology, but he is particularly enjoying his recent math classes where he has been really getting into Venn diagrams.
A Venn diagram is a method of grouping different sets of items, popularised by John Venn back in the 1880's (although the concept likely originated much earlier). Venn diagrams use simple closed curves, frequently circles, to represent sets. The region where the two circles overlap is called the intersection set and this is where Brian is gaining insight into the nature of Venn diagrams.

Created for carved art pieces theme in Smile on Saturday! :-)
It's made of carved wood and holds my spare reading glasses. It was sort of dull so I had a bit of fun in Photoshop with it. HSoS! ;-)

news paper and reading glasses are good companions.
I want to give some importance in artistic touch with day-to-day things which we use regularly.

This week has been manic, so my thoughts only turned to this week's MM challenge yesterday, in between other jobs. Failed miserably to get something I was happy with, until despondent, I started to look at today's flickr offerings. A lightbulb moment later and thank you flickr ipad app! HMM!
When I set this simple shot together I felt as though I was being watched when I viewed through my camera!!
Thankfully, I got to the gym this morning for my Spin Class and Yoga Class but I can't get out and about this afternoon as it is pouring down with rain ... oh, this weather has to get better!!
