Dirty Projectors are an American rock band, consisting of David Longstreth (vocals, guitar, musical direction; born December 17, 1981), Amber Coffman (vocals, guitar), Haley Dekle (vocals), Nat Baldwin (bass), Olga Bell (vocals, keyboards), and Michael Johnson (drums).
Taken on a 7D with a projector lens in a home made mount (body cap with a tube glued to it and lined with velvet).
right now, hancock is shooting out. its a terrible movie, but this angle kind of makes it seem good.

My cousin's husband has quite the antique camera/projector collection. I photographed them for him while visiting. He may decide to sell them before they move next year. I'll be posting more over the next days/wks....this is just the beginning!
Inspired by a project show on Instructables.com (and some pics on Flickr), I decided to see if I could make a slap-together Projector using an old plastic food container, sellotape, 10 sheets of thick photographic paper, a CIMA slide projector lens and my iPhone. It works! I can project an image (with the iPhone at full brightness) in PITCH BLACK at around 22" diagonal.
Oh as you can see, I also set it up to connect my speakers, as the iPhone's tinny speaker inside the Projector is not exactly THX-certified.....
No pics/Video of the projection, as my 'real' camera is currently out of action, and well, the samsung cameraphone is not sensitive enough to pick it up.
