poutine

village idiot pub

toronto, ontario

This was our appetizer at Citizen Cain. It can't really be called poutine, because it was made with shredded cheese instead of cheese curds. The fries and gravy, however, were really fantastic, and I thought the little dash of pesto on top was a nice touch. Oh, and that solid white chunk on top is a bit of feta.

Wow. 2:30am, just out of a club, drunk, been dancing for hours, and Etienne lets us know that poutine is the ideal food.

I think it is Montreal's equivalent to Pink's chili cheese fries, though you can get poutine all over the place, as opposed to just at Pink's Hot Dogs.

French fries, gravy, and chese curds. was a little salty, but hit the spot.

Never trust poutine you get at a Lebanese restaurant...even if it is vegetarian.

I treated myself to a dish of poutine with a glass of homemade lemonade after skating my first 100km.

A must-eat and -try @ Montreal

At last! Poutine! It was both delicious and a little gross.

Lots of my pictures will look a lot like Craige's. This was a successful poutine quest. Ashton's! Poutine! mmmm I wish I had some right now.
