Seen at the Carp Market near the close of the season in October. I found this amusing as poutine is a French Canadian dish consisting of fries, cheese curds, and gravy, while Pong is ... um ... definitely not a French Canadian name. It reminded both Sue and me of Stuart McLean's "Vinyl Cafe" stories that include a store named Wong's Scottish Meat Pies.

The only kind of poutine worth having... at a roadside chip stand in the countryside. This is why Lipitor exists.
I had to put the camera down or Danielle would have eaten it all!
You thought it couldn't get worse, then they created Poutine Pizza - french fries, poutine sauce and cheese.
I suspect it came from Bella Dona since they offer it and there's a Tim Horton's next to it (http://www.midnightpoutine.ca/restaurants/2007/05/finally_the_pizzapoutine_at_bella_dona/)

This stuff will kill you. Fries, Curd Cheese, gravy, and on this occassion, smoked meat. Also served with the gourmet's choice - Rootbeer. All from La Belle Province.
