Pod Clare was over again yesterday (13/9/2012). We had instructions to get some jazzy material and draw around our hand: these the raw materials for Pad and Pod's latest creation. www.podclare.co.uk/
I thought these were mushrooms at first -- it was hard to tell whether something was breaking free or growing alongside them. I haven't identified these yet. A wider shot, with a definite shoot emerging from one of the pods, is here.

Ten new homelessness pods have been constructed in a former village hall in Whitehill & Bordon in Hampshire, providing a safe, temporary shelter for homeless people

Os 16 deputados do Podemos eleitos para a 57ª legislatura (2023-2027) da Câmara dos Deputados foram empossados nesta quarta-feira (1º), em sessão no Plenário Ulysses Guimarães. Agora, o Podemos tem representantes em 10 estados brasileiros: São Paulo (4), Espírito Santo (2), Minas Gerais (2), Paraíba (2) e Bahia, Goiás, Rio de Janeiro, Maranhão, Paraná e Rio Grande do Sul todos com um representante por unidade federativa.
O Podemos é um partido movimento que defende, mais transparência, mais participação das pessoas e mais democracia direta.

This is a seed pod from a hybrid datura. Not ripe yet and with the frost last night it might not. The species datura has a spiny seed pod so I was intrigued with the sight of this one.
me and my new poppy pod... i like the way it looks, and the way it sounds when you shake it. i could have fallen asleep right there if i shut my eyes.

Oops, almost forgot to take a POD today. I wore my Nike+ wristband to class today as a nifty little watch. It came in very handy and I got a lot of compliments on it :)

On the Juneau whale watching trip. We saw 2 different pods of Orcas. A pod is the mama, daddy and baby. Here you can just see some white on the body. They reminded me of seeing dolphins swim except they weren't as playful. Although one did jump up out of the water.
