Today was the official day where AXA separated out into two companies, AXA Wealth and Friends Life. 'Friends Life' the new brand was formed by Axa's UK Life and Pensions business merging with Friend's Provident after Resolution acquired Axa's business for £2.75 bn.

As they were very keen to point out, over 400 AXA mentions have been removed from the sights around the UK. This one in Bristol may have had them removed, but they are not lost
