This Penguin was swimming from the bottom of the pool to the top and was really fast. The pool must be at least 20 feet deep and he was setting a new "water speed" record. I had no idea how fast they can swim.. Fun to watch..

This guy was swimming from the bottom to the top as fast as he could go.

This image was taken at SeaWorlds new Penguin Encounter. It is really well worth experiencing as you can see them on ice as well as swimming through glass underwater..

Having fun with a bubble gun.

The Penguin Encounter Theater at SeaWorld in Orlando is new and quite spectacular to see.. The water does run downhill like a river from one level to another and is recycled continuously. Suffice it to say - it is cold.... :)

This guy was on the highest ice level of the Penguin Encounter and was enthralled with something or someone below.. Great view for him up there..

I wish that I could fly

Into the sky

So very high

Just like a dragonfly

This was taken at the new Penguin Encounter at SeaWorld in Orlando, Fl. I have no idea why, but for some reason it was enchanted with something above it and just continued to stare up for a very long time...

A penguin can't really cut through denim, but this little girl was curious!

Well, its a spring. A woman uses an enrichment object she chose for her group's penguin encounter, to try to draw the interest of one curious bird.

This time, Baridi, the penguin, was more interested in the people.

Not only did I have the opportunity to photograph an animal encounter with Meeko, the raccoon, but I also talked my way into an encounter with the penguins. Here, participants are selecting toys to take into the habitat to tempt the tuxedoed birds.

Dani, the educator, shows a photo of a penguin to a group of humans. Someone who was even more interested waddled over to take a look.

The penguin enclosure at Sea World is closed for refurbishment. Looking down on it from 2000ft the extent of the refurb becomes obvious!
