Pendulum "The Unseen Impact" is the theme for our first TEDxDamanhur event for 2016. This year we decided to choose topics about the backstage process which nobody knows about it, but everyone knows the final stage thinking it's easy to reach this stage. Hope you enjoy our photos.

the bottom of the column repels the end of the pendulum (the polarities are arranged that way), so when the pendulum is in a still position, it isn't vertical (interesting result were achieved when i made it swing towards tha column.)

Foucault Pendulum in the lobby of Olin Hall (Centre College - Danville, KY - Governor's Scholars Program - Summer 2007).
If you look at the full size image you may be able to see the pegs, the pendulum s-l-o-w-l-y knocks them down as it swings back and forth.
This pendulum clock made by my father, the late Benny Band. There are quite a few of this model in various shades.Fretwork was a hobby of his as a child and when he arrived at the stage of being a pensioner, he took up his old hobby. This is my favourite.
