Built in 2006, this Contemporary building was designed by Fumihiko Maki, whose first major commission, Steinberg Hall, sits immediately to the south. The building is clad in limestone panels with multiple large curtain walls and glass storefronts on the north and south facades, rooftop monitor skylights, ribbon windows on the second floor at the south end of the building, and a contemporary addition on the north side of the building with an undulating glass facade and a glass-enclosed atrium that tie the building in with the adjacent buildings that were constructed in the late 2010s to fill in the former parking lot at the east end of campus. The building today is part of a larger complex that houses the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts.

Each workshop and panel drew sizeable crowds.

Following a screening of Ken Burns's documentary, THE ROOSEVELTS: AN INTIMATE HISTORY, at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College, Manchester, NH on September 10, 2014, a panel discussion took place with Anne Eleanor Roosevelt, granddaughter of FDR and Eleanor Roosevelt; Pam Tubridy Baucom and Daniel J. White, two producers of "The Roosevelts" for Florentine Films. Photo credit: Matthew Lomanno Photography

Tweaked around with the colouring and tidied the foreground up a bit.

The four panels I moderated appear on the screen on my phone as it sits on a table in the speakers' lounge.

Some panels for a quilt made by my grandmother back in the late 80's. I'm trying to get my skills up to scratch so I can finish it, along with the pink and green quilt.

On the occasion of EU Climate Diplomacy Weeks, the Delegation of the European Union to the United States in partnership with Anacostia Riverkeeper convened a transatlantic exchange of perspectives on tackling plastic pollution.

Moderated by Laura Parker, Senior Staff Writer at the National Geographic, the panel identified sustainable alternatives within the framework of a circular economy and highlighted ways to improve current waste management practices, while also discussing the impact of EU and U.S. policies on healthy waterways, marine biodiversity, climate change, and human health.
