On February 24, HCC's Student Government Association hosted a panel featuring HCC professor Peggy Armitage, Howard County Council members Dr. Calvin Ball and Mary Kay Sigaty, and retired Economic Development Authority CEO Dick Story. The panel discussed issues ranging from the local economy to transit and more.

Three years of study at the Architectural Stained Glass Department at Swansea culminated in the degree show, with each student (usually fewer in number by now than at the start!) allocated a window space in the building to display their work, with a mixture of panels representing the various techniques explored and styles developed by each individual.
I usually took a full set of photos of each show (I was known for being obsessive compulsive with a camera even then!) and felt uploading the full set best represents the range of talents and ideas, in many cases of people who never worked in the medium in post-college life.
If any of my contemporaries are looking in I hope they will be flattered and see this as a tribute to their achievements. If for any reason anyone is unhappy about their work being shared online to please let me know.

Once large now is smaller but much more specialized doesn´t matter how primitive process may look like...

From Canada's Track and Traffic magazine, this Simca 1000 has the radio mounted in the space for the ashtray, and the ashtray now hangs below. Crooked. Look, there appears to be a cigarette lighter just to the right of the radio, too!! Cool!

I also wanted to have an area of black - for the artwork. An "unworked" space.
To highlight the work of scratching and drawing in reverse to bring in the light, textures and details.
That is why I have signed the mural in this corner.
The theme of the border design is the "Natural History" of the Sunshine Coast. Along with the creatures I wanted to represent the various environments that occur...from the dense undergrowth of the rainforest, to the rushing streams and tidal areas.
