Back Page Spying...this was done today on the back page (where most people aren't allowed) of a new (as if I need another sketchbook) place to doing my dailey magicness with all sorts of impliments..This is a test...do not be afraid..only a test...to see if the paper will buckle when wet...it didn't cost enough to think it might, but bless its heart, it held up to the wet and brush test..And a star was born with Pesky Longstepper, the model that developed off a red blob of paint that tribled down the page with my expert help of turning it this way and that.....so far I know she wears gloves to protect her over delicate hands and boots not made for walking..and it turns out she's a not famous artist who has adventures...the wing on her foot is a mystery at this point...

I was surprised and more than a little pleased that our local newspaper, West Hawai'i Today, used one of my photos for a very positive front page story about the health of our reefs. Thanks WHT for making an old boy's day!
Handley Page developed a modern stressed-skin mid-wing monoplane, powered by Bristol Pegasus radial air cooled engines, with its first flight in 1936. It had the most advanced wings available at the time, giving it a remarkably low landing speed of 73 mph for an aircraft of its size, with a top speed of 265 mph. The Hampden had a short, narrow but tall main fuselage with a very slender tail unit. This configuration led to the nicknames "Flying Panhandle" and "Flying Suitcase". At the end of the war, no complete or partial Hampden aircraft were retained for museum display.
Turn the Page - Happy New year!

This is the splash page for my flash portfolio i'm working on at the moment. The Bubbles are animated as well as the hand on the bottom right. The hand moves up and under and over the other hand and grabs the top of the screen and pulls it down in to the next screen when the user clicks on one of the bottons. Let me know what you think.
